My father and I arrived in Strasbourg on the third hottest day of the extreme heatwave; the following day was the hottest. We had a little trouble finding the hotel because my GPS routed me to a road that was closed, and it was only by accident that I turned onto the correct street. However, when I went inside to check-in, the woman who helped me was incredibly nice. She immediately gave me the code to the garage, told me to unload the car and get my dad inside to keep him cool and only then park and return to complete checking in. She also told me that if Dad had any trouble breathing or was uncomfortable that night, all I needed to do was tell them in the morning and they’d try to move our room to a lower floor (we were on the third floor). That following day, the French health minister warned people to stay indoors and limit outside activity, so we stayed in the hotel all day. Although no rooms have AC, the ground floor does, so we decided to camp out there for the afternoon. Many other guests did, as well. The next day, even though it was to be even hotter, we had but one chance to see the city. As we were checking out, the woman with whom I spoke told me we could let our car in the garage and go explore. She even showed me on the map the quickest way to get to the Strasbourg Cathedral, telling me that it is usually always cool inside and would be a good place to take Dad. We absolutely loved the room, the facilities and the people. The only thing we missed was a fan.

Fantastic home base in Strasbourg!

Wonderful stay at Citadines Kleber in Strasbourg! Great location, walkable to major tourism sites and tons of restaurants. Very busy area but our suite was quiet. The one-bedroom corner suite was huge, well furnished, and totally comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast - extensive buffet with delicious fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs, everything you'd want. Really loved being at this hotel and we were sorry to leave!

Really great location! Some noise from the street in the evening but it was always done by 10pm. Great amenities with the kitchenette and good layout.

Easy to walk, return for the hotel, rest and return to the tours.

Great location, close to the main attractions of the city. Coffee machines are available free of charge in the lobby. Good for parking. Large room and well-equipped kitchen. The shower is in the bathtub. I didn't try breakfast.

Good hotel to discover Strasbourg

Very centrally located in the old town of Strasbourg with functional room facilities. Somewhat irritating is the toilet housed in a bare room. Delicious breakfast in a nice ambience. Friendly staff.
