Solo traveler, four nights
After reading reviews of this place a week before my trip I was a bit worried, but all my fears were lifted on arrival.
Location: The hotel is less than 10 mins walk from the main Strasbourg station, and across the street is the entrance to the Place des Halles which is a large shopping centre, including but supermarket with reasonable opening times. I'm from the UK so there being almost no shops open on a Sunday when I arrived was a shock - the Casino supermarket in town is though. As I was in town for work I didn't really explore after dark.
Room: I think I lucked out and got a recently refurbished room. It didn't look like the previous reviews I'd seen. It was clean and included a hairdryer which previous reviewers had said was missing. My main con was the bedding - they use some kind of disposable mattress protector which moved alot and when I tried to put it back in place I only managed to make a hole in the corner. I'm not sure how this would work if two people were sharing the bed.
My second con was the smell. Although the room was fresh, there was always a smell of cigarettes when I came back to the room, like it was above the smoking area. This wasn't overwhelming, but combined with the fact that the room was quite warm it wasn't the nicest experience.
I didn't have the breakfast as I was happy to have fruit and yoghurt in my room.
I would stay again as its a very practical hotel. It's not luxury, but it's not trying to be. As someone who just wanted to get into town and then come back for food and sleep, it was perfect.

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. The room was unclean, and the bathroom was in such a terrible state that I didn’t even want to step inside. The sink leaked water everywhere, making it even worse. The photos advertised online are completely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the room. The room was unbearably hot, with only a fan provided, and the bed was broken. Overall, a very unsatisfactory stay and definitely not worth the money.

Terrible.
Terrible, the hotel has rooms with minimal space, the kitchen is dated and has the minimum equipment to be able to cook, e.g., 2 people 2 plates.
The bathroom is ridiculous, the shower is very fragile, so you have to be careful not to break it, and the closet is tiny, not giving customers the possibility to organize everything as best as possible, even the table for eating is small and uncomfortable.
The only positive notes are the price, which is low, and the location very close to the station and the center of Strasbourg.

Decent Stay in Dorm Style Room
This was a convenient and affordable hotel for us to stay at when we visited over Christmas. We would compare it to a university dorm experience but at least it is close to the train station (10 minute walk) and not too far away from the old town area (10-20 minute walk to most major attractions). The hotel breakfast is great if you like croissants and dairy products. There isn't much around the hotel and it is a bit of a walk to any stores or restaurants. There is a halal shop within a 5 minute walk so if you're here over Christmas that is convenient because most places are closed early Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The room had a decent bed that was larger than expected and it had two small pillows. The room also has a long desk area that has two closets for storage, a small TV and it was warm in December. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge, small microwave, a two burner hot plate, a kettle and enough dishes for the two of us. We appreciated that they provided a kitchen sponge and a small container of soap. When we got the room all the dishes were a little dirty so we had to do some cleaning up before dinner.
The bathroom was where we got the biggest dorm vibes from because it was a bit smelly when we arrived and that might be due to the hot water tank that had a leaky PSV. The shower was a bit small and while the head was adjustable, the bar grip was broken so we couldn't keep the shower head up high. There was some brown goo inside the shower and it could use a more thorough cleaning to help with the appearance and all.
We were surprised that the hotel rooms didn't have a hair dryer or bottle opener. The Alsace region is known for wine so we were able to get a nice bottle but we had to go to the front desk to borrow the opener. Hair dryers are available from the front desk but it is worth asking for these early to make sure you get one in case you need it. They had luggage storage behind the front desk that we were able to use when we arrived and the day we left so we could maximize our time sightseeing.
Visiting Strasbourg was fantastic and we would recommend this hotel if you're looking to save a bit while travelling through the area. We were happy with our stay and chose it because it also had an affordable breakfast option but we may look elsewhere if we return to Strasbourg.

The doors of the furniture are misaligned (they overlap).

As a result, I shortened my stay and yet paid for everything.
