Fantastic Find!

A wonderful experience all round. Lovely tranquil location. Great room that was clean and more than adequate Amazing host Sylvie who could not have been nicer. Breakfast at an extra cost was very good value. Quiet area. Very highly recommended

Avoid at all costs. Very poor

Quite the worst experience of a B&B in France. No reccption staff. Run by a lady who was on holiday and only contactable by mobile phone. Entry via key lock code number, No key in lock. Fridge turned off,No heating on, Bed Small. Bedside lights not working.A few old items left on table for Breakfast, No breakfast service.

Charming little guest house on the Champagne route

We had booked an appartment, but due to a mixup we got a normal hotel room. This wasn't really an issue for us and the room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a nice old charm to it. The view from the room is beautiful, overlooking the little town of Trepail and the vineyards. Unfortunately, the room didn't have airconditioning so it did get quite warm inside. The breakfast was good but simple with limited choice (which is quite common in France).
The hotel is directly located on the Champagne route with nice towns like Aÿ and Epernay on just 30 mins away and the beautiful city of Reims at about the same distance.
Good hotel for a stay in the Champagne area!

Good B&B

There are a variety of different rooms here and it is avisable to check them individually as some are clearly unsuitable for elderly Pensioners. Indidual chalet rooms are excellent.Owners are helpful and obliging.There is no restaurant actually in Trepail.

Perfect stopover

We stayed here with our two dogs en route from Provence to the Channel Tunnel. The owner was charming, friendly and extremely welcoming. The apartment was spotless and extremely comfortable. We purchased two local bottles of champagne and drank one that evening which was delicious.
Breakfast was well presented with delicious bread, croissants and pain au chocolate. The coffee was excellent.
There is a large woodland a hundred yards away which was perfect for walking our dogs before breakfast.
Overall the perfect stopover for us and we will definitely be staying here again.
