The ultimate

We stayed for two weeks at Les Chênes rouges. Two weeks of pure happiness. The site is superb, the property is very well maintained. The cottage is spacious, very comfortable, and well decorated. Everything is available, even pool towels and bathrobes. The terrace with the lounge chairs is very pleasant. The kitchen area is fully equipped; nothing is missing. The pool is spacious and very well maintained, and it is pleasant to swim a few laps there upon returning from excursions, which are certainly not lacking in the region; you are in the heart of the Périgord Noir.
The breakfasts are delicious and varied, and the meals at the guest table are succulent.
And the highlight is the welcome and support from our hosts, Sylvie and Pascal, whose kindness, cordiality, and availability, all while remaining discreet, are exemplary. You feel good at Les Chênes rouges.
We had a wonderful vacation and we warmly recommend Les Chênes rouges. We will return with pleasure.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. They made their own breakfast for you and it’s different every day and all so delicious. The rooms are clean and stylish. They have a pool and you can also sit in the garden to chill. Perfect 10/10.

Basic accommodation.

The rooms are clean. Unfortunately, there is no housekeeping, even after several days spent there. There is also no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan. The breakfast is very simple.

A happy haven of peace!

This was our third stay with Sylvie and Pascal, and we were satisfied again. First of all by the new room, redecorated this winter with taste, comfort and functionality. Then by Pascal’s cuisine, both refined and generous, which leaves no guest indifferent, whatever his nationality.
Finally by the welcome and kindness of Sylvie, whose breakfasts have expanded and who is caring for her guests. On the discovery side, this time we visited Sarlat and the Château de Losse. The choice around the Red Oaks is huge, and we are now looking forward to the next opportunity to complete our Perigord culture!

Outstanding!

The stay at this property was memorable!
The house is in a very quiet place in the heart of the countryside, which helps to give so much peace.
The large and very well maintained garden is cozy and gives a magical atmosphere.
The swimming pool is for the free use of guests, who are also provided with towels!
The room was large, very nicely decorated and especially impeccable cleanliness.
But what we loved most was the dinner, cooked by the host and served on the table with all the other guests of the structure. It was the first time we experienced this format, but it was great to share an evening with other travelers. The food then was delicious, and just as good,a was the breakfast.
I would recommend this property to everyone, for its welcome and for the kindness and sympathy of the owners!
