This eccentric BnB is off the beaten path and quite delightful. No restaurants within walking distance, but there is a grocery store nearby, and our suite had a refrigerator and dishes. The property isn’t as tidy as in the photos, but it didn’t detract from our stay too much. The parking area is secured by a gate for which we received a clicker. Catherine served us breakfast each morning and it was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

An absolute gem of a find!
This is a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are pretty, comfortable, clean and well provisioned. The gardens are lovely and breakfast by the pool every morning a delight!
Our host, Catherine, made us superb omelettes with the eggs from her own hens, kept at the bottom of the garden, and serves them up with freshly squeezed orange juice and the best little crepes I’ve ever tasted.
Nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the three generations of my family staying there, so welcome. We can’t wait to go back.
Mas abicou is a very short walk from the stunning medieval village, Vezenobres - 10 minutes or so, and there is a supermarket. Petrol station, chemist, boulangerie all within a few minutes.

I have stayed at Mas Abicou several times over the past year or so. The establishment is excellent - casual and friendly, beautifully kept gardens, a lovely swimming pool and various areas (in sun and shade) for eating and relaxing, the breakfast is superb, and the owner is incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
I really cannot recommend Mas Abicou enough - a fantastic place to stay in a wonderful village.

We stayed at Mas Abicou for 3 nights in June 2021. From start to finish, everything was excellent - I really cannot recommend it enough.
We arrived very late, some five hours later than planned, and were met with a very warm welcome. The hosts are lovely, engaging, and clearly take a lot of pride in their business.
Every morning we had a wonderful breakfast by the pool - homemade jams, baking, eggs from the chickens and quail at the end of the garden, good coffee.
Room was excellent - we had the Celeste suite, which was perfect for our party (myself, my wife and my sister in law).
The hosts were also very welcoming of our dog, a large and gregarious boxer.
Can imagine this place would be great if you had kids - clear that the owners have tried hard to make it child friendly. In addition to the pool, looks like there's a lot to keep kids entertained.
This was a real gem of a find in a really wonderful village (hotel is located near the foot of the hill, a short walk from the hotel to the medieval centre - we walked easily there and back). We'll be back, and will be recommending to any friends and family that come by.

We had such a lovely time here. The owner was so friendly caring and helpful. We had a laugh. We used the pizza oven and bbq. Garden and pool were great. You can also get some lovely ice cream. Breakfast was very good
