Very nice hotel and manager

Great discovery, air-conditioned room with a small terrace, very appreciable, the manager is very helpful and very attentive to his guests, allowed us to have breakfast earlier than planned, I recommend this hotel

Booking with complete peace of mind.

Very good welcome from the owner who has taken over this hotel.
Room on the 1st floor with access to the terrace, tables, chairs, and kitchenette with microwave.
Very well-stocked breakfasts.
Free parking nearby.
Commercial space next door.
Without hesitation, the next visit.
In Vias, it will be there again.

Dishonest owner

Dishonesty and lies of the owner. I booked in this hotel to cancel 5 minutes later and this lady still debited me at night telling me that she had not received the call. This is unacceptable

Nice hotel for one or two nights

This is a perfectly good little hotel I would recommend for one or two nights
Great location but right on the main road so the occasional French motor cycle might keep you awake at night.
Quaint little breakfast on the pretty terrace with all items fresh but with no choice of menu.
Efficient reception though it is closed for a portion of the day.

Be careful! The hotel does not accept cancellations!

Be careful! We had booked a double room for 3 nights directly at Hotel Gambetta in April, at the price of 447.00 euros (not really cheap). Ten days before departure we had to cancel the reservation due to a medical emergency. The trip could not take place. Despite the presentation of a medical certificate, the full amount was charged to our credit card.
On booking.com, cancellation up to 4 days before arrival would have been free. Why doesn't it work with direct booking?
The booking confirmation indicated a 50% fee.
We have not received any response from the hotel to various e-mails. Quiet. We are very disappointed and cannot recommend this hotel, Le Gambetta in Vias.
