The best hosts ever

We stayed here for a night as we were attending a concert in Vienne. The guest house is nestled in woodland, up a small, hilly road a little way out of Vienne itself, it was completely re-built by Edouard and Pascal, the owners.
The room was very nice, clean and bright with a good bathroom but the absolute lifesaver was the fantastic air con, it was magnificent.
Breakfast was very good, with a great choice for such a small establishment but the absolute best thing about the place and the thing which will ensure we return is Edouard and Pascal, I don’t think it would be possible to get more genial, welcoming and charming hosts.

Lovely B&B in Vienne, France

My friend and I took 2 rooms at this lovely B&B in the forested hills outside Vienne. We were delighted with the friendliness of the two generous fellows who own and manage the business by themselves. They made us feel like 2 well loved aunts. The rooms were spotless. There were thoughtful items provided in the bathrooms. And the food lived up to our expectations of French cooking. My only disappointment was the decor, modern instead of antique. I would recommend this place to everyone. Judy

Posh B&B - very welcoming

This is a 'chambres d'hotes' i.e. not a hotel, but more like a B&B but of superior quality. We had a great welcome from Edouard and Pascal who run it. Lovely room, very comfortable, all mod cons. We were tired and could not face driving back into Vienne for dinner so Edouard offered to cook us dinner for a very reasonable price, and it was great. I advise booking dinner as it is good value with generous quantities. Breakfast was also very good, continental but they will cook you eggs if you want them. Would really recommend this but be aware it is not a 'hotel' and it is in a rural area near Vienne, not in the town.

Enthusiasm and culinary excellence

Whatever Au Bois de Massier lacks in view or position, Eduoard & Pascal certainly make up for in welcome, personality, culinary wizardry and local knowledge. Spotlessly clean, the family room was massively perfect for an overnight stopover for my teenage daughters & I. Do NOT miss the cheese selection!

Wonderful wonderful

Pascal and Edouard are wonderful guys.
We had a very pleasant talk despite our bad french language with Pascals mother.
We went there 2 times and will go again.
Everything that was written in other reviews is true and even better.
Till next time. We are looking forward to it.
