Really everything about the hotel was excellent. The location is a short walk to the Villandry chateau. It is also an excellent location for people using bikes. There were a good number of thém parked on the grounds. With the heat we were looking for a place with air conditioning. This was one of the very few. It was relaxing and quiet. Good food, welcoming staff. We rate it highly.

Beautiful stay in the green at Villandry

Pleasant little hotel in a quiet area, 10 minutes on foot from the Villandry castle and 5 minutes from restaurants.
Beautiful, spacious, and comfortable rooms with bathrooms. Impeccable cleanliness and a fridge restocked daily with mineral water, as well as bathroom supplies.
Lovely terrace for meals.
Excellent varied and very complete breakfast.
However, the half-board leaves much to be desired. Service, quality (except for desserts), and quantities are not top-notch. For example, no vegetables, hard and dry rice barely cooked, lukewarm meat, stewed meats with nearly identical sauces three days out of four, dry chicken thigh, partially burned potatoes, drinks very little chilled, lack or no ice cubes... what a shame!

A beautiful establishment for a seminar

We had the pleasure of organizing a corporate seminar at Haut des Lys for about fifteen colleagues, and the experience was very successful.
The venue offers a pleasant, calm environment conducive to work. The spaces are well arranged and allow for easy alternation between meeting times and more informal moments among colleagues.
We particularly appreciated the welcome and support from the entire team, always available, responsive, and attentive to our needs throughout the stay.
The catering was also a real strong point. The appetizer platters served in the evening were generous and of high quality, and the lunch was very well received by the entire group. Carefully prepared cuisine, made with good products, which greatly contributed to the success of the event.
We recommend Haut des Lys without hesitation for organizing seminars or professional events. A beautiful address that we will be happy to return to in the future.

Perfect stay

Perfect stay.
We were welcomed by a very friendly and pleasant team. The hotel is really very charming, very well equipped, decorated. It feels great.
The evening meal was delicious with local specialties.
