Gorgeous rooms and grounds, lovely host, perfect stay - so glad I booked it
I just stayed here yesterday (6/18/26) and I had to comment on this B&B, especially given a negative review I saw that made no sense.
This B & B is gorgeous. The photos are absolutely accurate. I will post mine if I can. The interior remodel of the bedrooms - I stayed in Chamber Parc - was perfect. The choices were well done - not only upscale, but tasteful. The decorating made it look like it came straight out of home pictured in Architectural Digest. The bathroom had one of those towel heater racks and the room had a walk in closet. And the room was huge! I travel a lot and I am used to $350-$400 / night hotels. This room was nicer than most of them - and much larger.
I had a terrific view of the grounds out back from my room - and speaking of the grounds at the back of the Maison - they were beautiful.
The rest of the B&B itself was gorgeous - not simply charming - gorgeous. The entire setting was very quiet and relaxing, with an Orangerie off in the distance. I had just had a stressful ten days moving too frequently between cities, and leaving a very busy port, and this was the perfect antidote. It is a little out of the way, but absolutely worth it.
The host, Emilie, was wonderful and kind. I made a last minute booking around 2:30 pm-ish and arrived around 4pm and even though I had not made any arrangements in advance, she served me a fabulous cheese and charcuterie platter and home made salad because I was too tired to head back into town after driving for almost three hours. The crémant and white wine she served me were great - and the wine was local.
She served it to me in the dining room with the French doors open on the grounds so I could enjoy the view. Unfortunately it was too windy to eat dinner out there.
The cheese and charcuterie were so good that I had her give me a list of what it was and on my way out of town I stopped at her local shop to buy more for my dinner tonight at my next B&B on my way to another town.
Breakfast was served on the patio out back - the same view as dinner but sitting outside - and was a typical yummy B&B breakfast. She included one each of the best croissants & pain au chocolate I have had in France so far, with jams and butter, a slice of an apple cake, a skewer with bananas and kiwi fruit, and homemade yoghurt, which I have never had before. I have to say, I am a convert - homemade yoghurt is much better than store bought. The night before she did offer to make me eggs or bacon or anything else I'd like, but I prefer this type of continental breakfast. I actually only ate the pain au chocolate, so she sent me off with the croissant. There was bread in the basket as well, to go with the jam and butter - but I prefer croissants.
Oh - and not to be neglected during this awful heatwave - there is AC in both the Maison and in the rooms. My room was so cool it was a relief. I regret not staying there an extra night as the B & B I am in now - further towards the Atlantic coast but still in the middle - does not have A/C and I somehow managed to not notice that when I made my booking.
All and all this is a perfect B & B and the best stay I have had so far (and this was my fifth stay in about 10 days due to poor planning on my part).
If I was in the area again, I would absolutely stay here - and for longer next time. And next time I'd have a bathing suit on me if it was summer.
I saw a critical review when I was reading the reviews before I booked this, and I am glad I ignored it. I would have missed out on a beautiful, quiet, lovely stay with a thoughtful and considerate host.

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful and very accommodating. They provide dinner on request and the food was superb. Breakfast also excellent. We also took advantage of the opportunity to have a massage. All in all an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended.
