Beautiful Launch Point to Mountains in Corsica
We had a spectacular stay at Domaine le Mouflon D'or. Everything was pristine and the setting beautiful. The staff are wonderful and the food is as well. Amazing visit.

Generous welcome on a beautiful domain
Where to start: Very nice domain and just about the most friendly and flexible employees I have ever experienced in a hotel. The decor of the rooms is beautiful, practical and warm. They have a large heated outdoor pool and the massages are highly recommended. If something went wrong (on their side or on ours) it was solved with a warm hand and incredible flexibility! Here you feel really welcome and pampered as a guest.

A gourmet stop in an exceptional location.
A remarkable and charming renovation in an imposing building at the entrance of Zonza.
We tested the bar, its comforting fireplace, and the excellent signature cocktails inspired by Corsican terroir, as well as dinner and lunch.
Refined, gourmet dinner, full of character and with generous portions, inspired by Corsican terroir.
An excellent sommelier with very good advice.
A bit disappointed by lunch, however: a different menu but no lunch formula/menu, which would be greatly appreciated. We recommend dinner instead.
A strong, bold, and high-quality bet in any case in this mountainous territory.

This is my second stay in nine months since the Mouflon d'Or estate opened in 2025. It took seven years of tasteful renovation work to transform an early 20th-century aristocratic mansion (nestled in the heart of nature) into a property that is both contemporary and elegant.
Luxury guided hikes are offered by expert local guides in dramatic mountain landscapes, dense forests, deep valleys and traditional Corsican village.
This hotel meets all the criteria of a 5-star-plus ! A big thank you to the entire team !
PS : I’ve already booked my third stay there. I'm really looking forward to enjoying the new 1,200-square-meter spa, which is scheduled to open at the end of May."

An exceptional destination in a surprising location
Le Mouflon d’Or is “worth the voyage”. A superb palace in an unlikely place. But we found the visit not only to be worthwhile, but a remarkable. The building itself is a marvel; a typically austere Corsican stone structure, big and imposing. Rebuilt and remade with loving taste and care for the smallest details. Quality and refinement. Beautiful local antiques mixed with the most modern amenities. Pure luxury and pleasure. Excellent service from a professional staff. Extraordinary food of highest quality. Hearty breakfast. Expensive yes, but seen as an investment it is well worth it. Natural scenery to take one’s breath away. Fantastic hiking. A pleasant village. The hotel opened recently after years of restoration. It is not yet fully finished. But the swimming pool area is completed and offers opportunity of poolside leisure. When the spa is completed next year, the reason for visiting will be even more obvious. We will return.
