The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious enough. I loved the veranda and nearby beach. The bathroom was a little smelly probably from the drain. The shower entrance and room door entrance were very narrow which was awkward. Breakfast was lovely with a good assortment.

WiFi is bad never service in room cleaner is excellent but the hotel needs upgrading breakfast service was ok but I had to tell them it was cold a few times the staff are very helpful they would always try to solve any issue even with things they couldn’t I believe the hotel is a 3 star not 4 & it’s way overpriced

CRAP

At first the hotel looked nice staff were friendly at first the first night we stayed in room 7 not a ad room then went into bathroom there was no door just a glass divider so you can see the person in on the toilet we went for breakfast the first one i asked for a full english one there was no bacon no tomato the beans were cold and not warmed up i asked for toast they said they did not do toast there was no orange juice no croissant or other pastry it was a poor breakfast we asked to be moved they put us in room 8 which was a nice room and view plus could seat outside it and see the sea views the next day breakfast just got worse the staff finished at 2 pm put averting dinner does not exist so we ordered lunch and sat by pool it was the best bacon and cheese baguette so two days later we ordered two and they didn't have any bacon or anything on menu other than a wrap which was not good. The pool was not looked after or any chlorine in it I was bitten a lot why I was there.
The staff the best one was the room attendant was very friendly and helpful, the night porter came across ok the first night we ask for bottles of water I must agree he got us them but it cost us 1 thousand of delusional which worked out £10.00 we were ripped off as was quarter the price for 6 bottles.I was cold at night which I must say he did get me another quilt then one night we had the door open with curtains closed and he knocked at 2.15 am which we could not see why he made us very uneasy after that. the so called manager when she was there which was not much. The receptionist had the phone if you rang it not the manager I find very doggie any way we had enough so we check out 4 days early we asked the manger for a refund after we asked staff to get here in she said she would speak to owener and ring us she said she could not get him as it was a weekend which i understand
well that never happened we have give them plenty of time to sort it we have been home a week now and nothing they are con artist and we are letting the trading standards know now as it put people off going to Gambia as it is a lovley place and needs our money to help the country.
Not to blame all on Ramadam if so they should not open as other hotel can get all for breakfast.

Dishonest

Nice place but on the booking sites they say they take card. But they don’t. They want a bank transfer very dishonest.
They run out of clean towels.
It’s good value for £30 a night maximum.
