Needs a lot of improvements, would not visit again.
Not a bad hotel but overall needs quite a lot of improvements. Meals time are only 1.5 hour long? Every meal feels quite rushed and we even missed a meal because of being few minutes late. Water and drinks at breakfast are not chilled? 36 degrees island, would recommend to make at least some ice available for guests. Food variety is another issue. Only watermelon was available as fruits for a 7 nights stay?
Only positive aspects are the huge swimming pool and the free shuttle to the beach.
Agree with most of other visitors would not visit again unfortunately.

Vile, uncomfortable and unfriendly - checked out after one night
Horrendous, we booked as a last minute weeks break with the kids, arrived today we are moving to a different hotel in the morning. And we are only leaving it that long because the alternative hotel isn’t available tonight. When we arrived dinner was about to end so she sent us straight in. We walked in to find an old dirty cat just in the middle of the dining room, the tablecloths were all dirty. There were 3 options of lamb which was very tough, overcooked and mainly bone, Mexican pork which didn’t even look like meat, and octopus with vegetables. That was it no children’s options at all. Regardless we checked in and came to our room. The outside is lovely I will admit and the pool a great size, but don’t let that fool you when it comes to the rooms. Horrendously outdated, the mattresses and pillows are like concrete. The metal shutters on the outside of sliding doors don’t lock. The rooms smell old, musty and are just gross so much so it made our eyes sting. There were marks on the blankets, bits in the beds. All in all my honest opinion is that it’s vile. Even though it’s a cheaper option I would avoid at all costs. When I went to complain to reception and ask for the money back for tax and air con for the days we weren’t staying the receptionist was so uninterested, no apologies. No how can I improve things I was just met with ‘yeah I only work here’ just avoid

Would not book again
Gonna be completely honest. Stay away. Hotel gave us good hopes at the entrance but later disappointed us with the horrible smell coming from our room on the ground floor. We stayed for 3 nights , arriving late at night on the first day due to the timing of our flight but payed for a full day of meals. When checking out on the 4th day, which was required before 11am and our flight was 8pm where we were stranded with no food. We are poles living in england and were surprised to walk into over 90% of the guests being polish as a polish brand “Rainbow” owns most of it so if this would be a problem to you, stay away. Location wise it’s not too bad, around 20 minutes from the beach and 5-10 from shops, only concern is there’s no pavements. The staff didn’t look the happiest , they looked as if they just want to get payed.Noise level was alright. Really recommend not spending your money on this hotel.

Zante village hotel
My son and I stayed here at the hotel for a week at the end of July. Firstly I'll write about the pro's...
Great location, about a 10 minutes walk into the small town of Alykanas, which has plenty restaurants, bars and shops. The road is a busy road to walk on into town so be careful.
The cleaners work hard and keep the rooms clean, they are friendly.
The rooms are big and clean.
The buffet has a decent range of food.
The bar- man on an evening is friendly and professional and there's a young lady called Lyra that also works in the restaurant and outside bar that is lovely, she's professional and friendly.
The receptionist through the day, blonde curly hair is also very helpful and friendly.
The pool is nice and clean.
Now for the con's
The hotel is a little tired and needs updating.
The heat lamps in the restaurant don't keep the food very hot.
The beds aren't very comfortable and you only get 1 pillow.
Some of the guests are so rude and have no manners, this obviously isn't the hotels fault! They don't know how to que or behave politely to other guests or staff!
All in all for a budget hotel its ok.

Don’t waste your money!!!
Avoid at all costs.
Rooms so dated and dirty. Blood stains on the curtains, hole in the bath, no towels in room on arrival, had to ask for them. They weren’t changed during the week either.
The doors don’t shut properly so be prepared to hear banging all night.
All inclusive was terrible, breakfast was cold and poor. Only one coffee machine so be prepared to wait in line. Lunch and dinner was repetitive with very limited choices. Not ideal for small children. No daytime snacks other than ice cream. You will need to eat out!!!
We payed extra to keep the room on so we could shower before travelling back as on a late flight and was told all inclusive finished at our original check out time which was @ 11am bearing in mind we didn’t arrive till 9pm on the first night.
The hotel is understaffed and lacks a happy atmosphere as the staff are under so much pressure.
