Book very early, these are popular!
We booked 18 months in advance as these book up fast with repeat guests. Super friendly staff and a great location near the 2 best beaches in Lassi is why!
It is the 2nd TUI drop off so a super quick transfer.
Slopes from the road up into all the properties and slopes/steep steps to access the beaches so not suitable if you have mobility issues.
Apartments are simple but practical. We requested twin beds by email and got them. The bedroom has aircon for 45 euros payable on arrival. It only works if the French doors are shut. There's a hairdryer, iron and board.
The kitchen has a tiny table and chairs that we didn't need as we had a big balcony. Hob, toaster, kettle, fridge with ice box.
Bathrooms have been refurbished so they are modern. Could have done with hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors. Maids didn't come every day but most. Towels and bedding sometimes changed but not every day. Only one day that bin not emptied. Loo roll not always replaced so we did buy some.
The pool and area around are super clean and even when fully booked only about 1/3 of sunloungers used. Maybe because the beaches are so near.
The pool bar has breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.
Last day facilities are not great. You use the loo at the bar. There's only one. You use the very public outdoor shower by the pool or the one on the grass. This property would really benefit from a little block with 2 private showers, 2 loos and 2 changing cubicles. We ended up getting ready in the pool bar area which is not very nice for other guests having food and drink there.
I think value for money here is excellent.

3rd visit for us and our stay did not disappoint. For us it’s the family you become, nothing is too much trouble and the beers always cold . Apartments are basic but comfortable, spotless, great bathrooms and great views from the balconies. Pool is great, always sunbeds available.

Beautiful place and people
I would not hesitate to recommend Marinos and will certainly be returning when I inevitably book to revisit the beautiful Kefalonia.
The rooms are basic but absolutely spotless and have everything you need for your stay. The pool, bar and gardens are the cleanest and tidiest of anywhere I have stayed before.
Location is perfect, directly opposite a stunning beach and situated at the end of the main road which houses numerous bars, restaurants and shops.
To top it off Marinos and his team are super friendly and welcoming.

We have just arrived at the incredible Marinos Apartments, and it reminds us exactly why this is the only place we return to for our holidays.
What Makes Marinos So Special:
• The Loveliest Family Atmosphere: The staff and hosts here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like old friends. They truly go above and beyond to make your holiday perfect.
• The "Returning Guests" Club: One of our favorite things about staying here is talking to other people around the beautiful pool and snack bar. Just like us, almost every single guest we spoke to was a returning visitor! That tells you everything you need to know about how wonderful this place is.
• Unbeatable Lassi Location: Tucked away in a peaceful, relaxing spot but just a short stroll from the gorgeous golden sands of Makris Gialos beach. It gives you the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience.

Marinos Apartments feels like a home away from home. Between the spotless rooms, the brilliant pool area, and the unmatched warmth of the family running it, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in Lassi. We are already planning our next trip back!

Brilliant holiday
Absolutely loved this place. We were in Room 2. The balcony was huge. Family run, only 18 apartments, so friendly. Apartments are a bit dated but you only sleep in them. Tv was in the bedroom which was a bit strange. Pool was absolutely spotless. Lots of sunbeads. The maids were lovely. It says in the book they come in every other day to clean and change beds, but they came in every day, which was great, but you never knew when they were coming in, so if you had a late night or just wanted a lie in, you were always wondering when they would just come in. There was no "do not disturb " hangers that you could use. I think they need to adress this. The pool bar food was great with lots to choose from, from full English breakfast to sandwiches, omelettes, burgers, toasties all at really good prices. The cocktails were great at ,€8. Marinos was on the bar at night and he was brilliant. During the day was a lady (sorry forgot her name) again, great with everyone. The hotel was within waking distance of lots of bars/restaurants and a supermarket. The beach was probably about 10 minutes walk. Just be advised the walk down to the beach was a bit uneaven. There were lots of steps down. The railings were a bit unsteady. Beach again was lovely and sandy. The road could be a bit busy, especially the motorbikes going fast. The grounds were kept beautifully. As I said the only issue we had was with the maids and not knowing when they were coming in. I would highly recommend this Hotel. We will be going back. Great job to all the staff at Marinos Apartments.
