Great little little place easy to walk around close to everything relatively

Damaged flooring w/ hole beneath rug, insects, and cleanliness issues made this room different from what was advertised

Very disappointing experience. Within the first 30 minutes of arriving, I realized the room I was assigned did not match the quality and presentation I expected based on the listing photos. As I inspected the room further, I found stained bedding, insects, and damaged flooring concealed beneath a rug.
The flooring issue was especially concerning. After lifting the rug, I discovered broken and displaced floorboards with a visible gap underneath. The condition was serious enough that police attended the property and documented it in a written report.
I reported the issues immediately after arrival and did not feel comfortable staying in the room. Unfortunately, I was unable to reach a satisfactory resolution. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again and recommend that guests thoroughly inspect their room upon arrival.

For me, this hotel is never considered again. Then you really prefer to spend a few euros more and good.

I spent three nights in this hotel, no trace of the advertised pictures on the corresponding holiday portals, I was, shall I put it mildly in a slumber, that's what I would call it.
What looks very nice in the pictures of the holiday portals does not correspond in any way to reality. Mold, old, not at all up to standard, there are also 44,00 € per night an absolute disaster. There wasn't even a toothbrush cup in the bathroom, a no-go. In the morning a coffee in the hotel, also out of place, there was not.
The soundproofing a disaster, very noisy, the television in the next room was very clear to hear, also the conversations could be followed.
The street noise, despite the closed door, also a disaster.
I had room 303 and I'll leave some impressions. I would never go to this hotel again.

Positives:
Great location a few steps from Omonia square with metro,shopping, hop on hop off bus stop and numerous great restaurants and bakeries.
Lift worked, wifi worked.
Affordable accommodation with lift, and somewhere to crash and shower.
We felt safe in the area as there was a lot of tourists and a lot of urban renewal taking place.
Negatives: In dire need of renovation, but still a good deal for the price. If you’re after a posh place, it’s not for you.
Staff were moderately friendly and helpful during our early morning check in after a delayed flight.

Avoid at all costs. Found bed bugs in one of the blankets and woke us up at 4am. The room was barren and unlike the images of the rooms. It's very clear that they don't clean the property and furnishings well, if at all.
We checked out and left the room immediately and the man at the front desk couldn't care less after we told him the situation. He really didn't seem bothered whatsoever. Just wrote down a note for his relief/manager later on. Persuing a refund through Expedia currently.
