What a great hotel and location. Walk to the many shops and restaurants and the acropolis. Staff was outstanding. Can't say enough about this place.

Excellent location for Acropolis

This was our first visit to Athens. Herodion hotel proved to be an excellent choice for us. Location couldn’t be better. Five minutes walk to the Acropolis museum and the very nice restaurants and shopping area. Two minutes walk to the Big Bus Hop on Hop off stop. Rooftop restaurant with Acropolis view. Spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. On top of that, exceptional service by all the staff. They upgraded our room to a larger room with Acropolis view ! We will definitely stay here at our future visit to Athens. Very highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Herodion hotel staff.

Amazing!!!

Loved this place!! We stayed in what I assume was the best apartment because I’m not sure how it could be beaten! Staff were super friendly - we were going to go out to eat but ended up cooking and eating on the balcony because of the view. Highly recommend - great value for what we paid. Everything was walking distance and entrance to the acropolis is 5mins away.

Great hotel close to everything

Great service and communication. The rooftop bar was fab. Staff more than happy to help with anything. Will be back in a heartbeat

Super central and highly recommend

Have just returned from a 4-day visit at the Herodian. The hotel was super central to everything: a short walk to the Plaka, close to the Hop-on-Hop-Off bus stop, close to restaurants and, of course, essentially next door to the Acropolis and the Museum.
The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful; the hotel is safe and in a good area for walking back in the evening. The rooftop bar is beautiful in the evening and the food looked delicious in the restaurant. The rooms were absolutely fine, although they could possibly benefit from better soundproofing from adjacent rooms but were clean, air-conditioned and well serviced. Would definitely stay here again and high recommend
