Great stay
Well located. , very. Comfortable clean rooms. with a great mattresses !!
Polite helpful staff. . Basically you know what you’re going to get at Melia and Athens certainly delivers .
I choose the hotels I stay on the gym first .
I. looked ok online … it was oldish Tecnogym equipment but acceptable.
To my surprise and absolute joy it’s all been upgraded and is brand new Tecnogym equipment
Makimg such investment and not advertising it to guests on
Its website is modest and silly too .

Excellent hotel and service
Well-located hotel, a little over 1 km from the central square and with a subway station about 200 meters away. Connectivity to go to all the attractions, although most can be reached by walking.
The building has some years on it but is very well maintained, with quality details.
We booked the standard room but they gave us a free upgrade to a superior one, which was spacious and comfortable. Well equipped with a refrigerator and Nespresso coffee maker. Bathroom also comfortable with product kits.
We did not have breakfast because we were leaving early for excursions.
Very good Wi-Fi, excellent cleanliness and service. Reasonable price for a hotel of this category.

Wonderful people and hotel
We stayed for 1 week in late May.
Firstly the location is fantastic, all the of the places to visit are within walking distance or a short bus ride away.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the facilities are exactly what you need. The roof top pool and bar is superb and we spent a few nights having a drink overlooking the acropolis.
BUT, the best part is the staff, everyone is so welcoming, friendly and helpful, we can’t thank them enough for their kindness, Dana (hope I have spelt it right) made us all feel like friends.
The guys in the restaurant were equally wonderful and Dora and the team were so nice and the food was so good we eat there most nights.
If we get the chance to go back to Athens, I would not stay anywhere else.

Great hotel, clean and well organized, brand new amenities, good location near the city center, and convenient facilities with restaurants, a pool and continental breakfast on the premises.

Just okay
Stayed overnight on a trip out of Athens and was happy it was only for a night. Service from staff was inconsistent. Breakfast was just okay, few options and scant even early in the breakfast service hours. One standout was the wonderfully comfortable beds. This is more of a residential neighbourhood with some quirks and most significant sites are not within easy walking distance. Fortunately, taxis are quite reasonable in Athens so if you prefer to be near the action, this isn’t really the place. Having stayed at other Melia properties, this one was a bit of a letdown.
