Great location for a very reasonable price!
This hotel is older than some but very centrally located and the rooms are reasonably cheap. We had a clean room with plenty of space to move around, a sitting area and a small kitchen area with basic facilities. It was nice to have a fridge to keep some cold drinks in.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke good English. It provides a great base to explore Athens, as it is easy walking distance from a great many of the key city centre attractions, as well as being close to metro stations and bus routes. We would happily stay there again.

advertisement and the reality is huge difference
The difference between the photos in the advertisement and the reality is huge—really huge. Everything was dirty. The floors looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time, and the whole place felt neglected.
The location is close to the city center, but the neighborhood feels unsafe and is full of shady people. I would definitely not recommend it, especially for solo female travelers.

Disgustingly dirty place, poorly maintained hostile host, avoid at all costs, you have been warned!
Avoid at All Costs – Disgusting Conditions and Hostile Host
This was, without question, the worst Airbnb experience we’ve had.
The apartment was in a deeply unsanitary state upon arrival. There were hairs throughout the bathroom, visible excrement and urine stains in the toilet, and a broken shower that made proper use impossible. The shower cubicle itself was coated in layers of body oil, grime, and filth, especially around the drain, which looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. No guest should have to choose between staying in these conditions or scrambling to find last-minute accommodation.
We spent less than 10 hours in the apartment in total—just one night—due to catching an early return flight the next morning. Even in that short window, the state of the property was completely unacceptable.
We contacted the host immediately, expecting a resolution. Instead, we were met with defensiveness, accusations, and outright hostility. Rather than taking responsibility for the apartment’s state, the host deflected and made the situation worse.
We requested a refund directly, which the host refused. As a result, we escalated the issue through Airbnb Support, providing photos and documented evidence. After reviewing the case, Airbnb ruled in our favor and forced the host to issue the refund, confirming just how far below standard this property truly is.
Final note: If the host chooses to respond to this review, take it with a very large pinch of salt. Based on our experience, any reply will likely be filled with falsehoods, blame-shifting, and damage control. We’ve already seen the host resort to lies and hostility—any response should be seen for what it is: an attempt to save face, not the truth.

Nightmare before summer
Everything was bad except the kindness of the cleaning lady. The bathroom is off in the hallway, separated from the bedroom. Was dirty, the bed very uncomfortable and the pillows were too old and too dirty. Very very bad. Even the elevator has no door, you can just lose your hands between floors. Not recommended. The air conditioning in bedroom was also very noisy because something was broken and they didn't fix it.

Terrible place in Athens
terrible rooms, bathroom and toilet outside. everything is old. I don't recommend it. very Dirty . no comfort, there are homeless people on the street, it’s noisy around you can’t sleep ,There is almost no hot water
