Good experience

Very warm welcome, smiling and professional staff. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are impeccable, special mention to Natalia, who always has a smile and a kind word in the morning when we see her. The breakfast is perfect, with plenty of choices. This hotel has a good location; you can do everything on foot, and the metro is nearby on Omonia. We found the neighborhood very quiet and safe. The graffiti is not at all bothersome; there is some everywhere in Athens, and it is part of the decor! I recommend this hotel; you will not be disappointed.

Very poor reception, unprofessional staff, lots of noise and impossible to sleep, sketchy neighborhood...
Avoid at all costs!

The street in front of the hotel is not easily accessible by taxi, so be prepared to walk 1/3 of a block from the street to the hotel. The area is typical with graffiti, so don't be surprised. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby and breakfast area are very nice. Breakfast includes breads, cakes, meats, olives, eggs, yogurt, coffee, and fresh juice. The best breakfast buffet I've ever seen! The rooftop bar is excellent.
The only issue we had was that the shower flooded the entire bathroom. There was a drain in the bathroom floor, so the water didn't extend beyond the door, but we did have to use a lot of towels to avoid slipping. The shower door seal was broken, and maintenance tried to fix it, but it didn't hold.
The area is easy to walk and there are plenty of coffee shops and places to eat.

The location was awful; it was hard to sleep at night due to the noise from a facility across the street. They were LOUD. The young lady who handled my check-in, was extremely unprofessional. I requested a room with two beds, and she simply told me to see if anyone would switch rooms with me, because she could not help me. Rather than continue to argue with her, I went back to my room. The hotel was not full, so I did not understate why she could not accommodate the request. On my last night at the hotel, I discovered the maid did not replace the sheet she removed. I had no top sheet. The only good thing about this hotel, was that it had HOT water. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front desk staff were moody, and unhelpful. Beds were like rocks, air con old and dusty, shower mouldy, leaking shower from above. Breakfast included but not worth it.
