Wonderful Location
We found our way, no problem, having printed out google map directions. Upon our arrival, there was a young couple watering the garden paths and tidying up. They realised we were booked in, although we were a little early and took us to our room. The girl was attempting to tell us something and we couldn't understand why she didn't understand any English nor could we understand her. Turned out, they were Bulgarians, caretaking! Anyway, all was well when our host's father turned up and explained his son had had to go to Chalkida today and would be back early evening. We duly met george later and what a lovely family they are.
Our room was at the front with stupendous views over the sea. Beautiful! The room was equipped with two single beds which turned out to be the hardest we slept on this holiday. The kitchen had a fridge, two hobs and an oven and even a t.towel was provided which is not usual! We were left in charge of our own hot water, which only took twenty mins. or so to heat up. The bathroom was fine with a decent enough shower although, as usual, nowhere to hang the shower head.
The windows and doors had pull to shutters with fly screens, always a bonus!
From our balcony, we simply enjoyed watching the wild sea crashing over the wall. We had decent enough shade when required with a wind out awning.
The town and harbour were a few hundred metres further along the road, which we opted to drive to as the wind was so strong during our time here.
The one down side was the tap water was not poteable, it was slightly salty. There was a water fountain outside the property which we used to fill bottles from.
