Stormy days in Nea Vrasna

Rhapsody House has an excellent location on the sea front road with views of the bay. It was unfortunate that we were there for a couple of days of the wettest and stormiest weather that we have experienced in Greece, or anywhere else, (26th - 28th June). Our room was very comfortable which was just as well as we spent more time in it than we had anticipated. The suite included a wide shaded balcony overlooking the sea but because of the weather we never had an opportunity to sit out; we also had good shower and tea-making facilities. We were well looked after by a young Latvian woman who spoke excellent English. She produced for us about the best breakfasts we have eaten in Greece, including fresh bread and cake from a nearby bakery and with a delicious variety of fresh fruit. So often in Greece it seems that the only fruit on offer is water melon, so it was good to see somebody preparing and serving breakfast with imagination. Of course a full cooked dish of bacon and egg was also available for those with appetites. Because the weather was so bad we did not get to see as much of the surroundings as we would have liked, but there are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and it seemed to us a very family-friendly resort. We would be happy to recommend Rhapsody House.

We verbleven 3 nachten in Rhapsody House. De kamer was aan de kleine kant maar heel mooi, modern en hygiënisch. Het terras was erg ruim en overdekt.
We hadden een super uitzicht op de zee!
Voor het ontbijt moesten we een paar huizen verderop zijn. Dit was in een restaurant waar je ook 's middags of 's avonds lekker kan eten.
Het ontbijt was lekker maar beperkt.
Het verblijf heeft ook een privéparking (achteraan het gebouw, afgesloten met een poort).
Als je culinair wilt gaan eten in de buurt, kan je terecht bij Kalamatianos Seafood Restaurant (is maar een klein kwartiertje rijden). We hebben er heel lekker en uitgebreid gegeten.
