Excelent choice

This location is truly amazing, being so close to both the old center and the harbor. Very clean room. The balcony was a really advantage to relax after a sunny day at the beach. The reception staff was very friendly and the interaction was lovely. The price was correct. Really recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic location, lovely room, strong wifi

Fantastic location and spotless rooms, highly recommend! Castle Inn is 20 steps from the old Venetian Harbour but you don’t hear it at night, which is perfect. The facilities were exactly as described, great AC, bed was comfy and the wifi was strong which we needed for work, fresh towels and sheets daily if needed. The lady who runs the place is so welcoming and does an amazing job, it was so clean. highly recommend we’re so glad we found this place, thank you!

Excellent choice

It's the third time I stay in this small hotel.
I love it , because it's in a perfect location (2minutes from old port), it's super clean, and has everything that I could ask from a city small hotel.
Wi-fi is perfect, tv works perfect, very clean aircondition, small fridge is also available.
Beds are really comfortable.
Housekeeping is also very good.
Highly recommended for people who travel simple.

Terrible

Very old building without any serious signs of renovation to make it pleasant or ever acceptable to accommodate visitors. The balcony doors were old and kind of destroyed allowing all the noises of the busy road (the hotel is at the heart of the old port in Chania) entering the room and waking you up at night. The mattress was very hard offering you an unpleasant sleep and backache. Not any blackout curtains or any other way to block day light that woke us up in the morning. Also there was not sound insulation at all, we could hear every single sound from the other rooms and outside. To end up with, the price for the quality offered was not that low, around 210 euros for three nights. Would not recommend it.

Brilliant location...

Yes it's budget, but we found it more than adequate for us. Our room on the 1st floor was cleaned every day. Very basic facilities and not suitable for anything other than making tea or coffee. Very friendly staff. Everything from the harbour to the shops and tavernas are all right outside the door. Excellent value for money and would not hesitate to return when next in Chania. Great for a few days, but not much longer.
