Wonderful place to stay
The host is very friendly, always available if you need anything. He basically was like out travel guide, gave us a map and recommended beaches, restaurants and places to visit. They were all excellent choices.
We highly recommend Doreen Suites. We will definitely be back next year and we look forward to stay at this wonderful place again.

We found this place simply speaking with a family like us, which this year comes back here..
They spoke entusiastically of Suites Doreen like a wonderful place, very confortable, clean and Stelios, the manager, a very very kind person.
I can confirm all!
The rest is the peacuful sea and in general the greek atmosphere, the simply and genuine food and a place, Chania, rich of history, tradition.. beutiful.

A little gem
Stelio the owner is most accommodating he will go out of his way to recommend local places of interest and assist in any way possible. A true gentleman.
Location was perfect for us, two minutes to aptly named no problem supermarket were all local produce bread is available. The store opens very early closes about 11pm. There are at least four restaurants near by we tried them all had good service at all but the kalamaki beach bar had the most outstanding quality of food, freshly prepared and excellent service. You can have a sunbed from here which is directly onto the beach for 7 euros fee which is the price of your drinks. The beach here is Turquoise Blue you can wade out in the shallows along way up to your knees.
The tobacconist sells bus tickets into chania at 1.70 euro for a 15 min trip to a beautiful old town and Venetian harbour.
Just up the street from Doreen suites is a local kebab takeaway which serves huge kebabs, it has a constant stream of visitors.
We took the day trip to eflasonissi beach well recommended it was not too busy , we easily got a sunbed and had a memorable day, absolute magic.
We will return to Doreen suites because for us it provided everything we needed, good accommodation, at a good price, perfect location in a safe surrounding.
