What a view.

We wanted to start our trip to Crete with something to remember. We couldn’t have chosen better and will talk about our stay for years to come.
We did actually decide to come back on our last night but the room with the balcony was not available, but thankfully a slightly smaller one was next door in a sister hotel which was also excellent.

Unique

This hotel adds extra magic to the already enchanting city of Chania. It's like waking up in heaven. The bed is perfectly comfortable and comfortable. Breakfast excellent, with many options for every taste in a wonderful space (except hotel), the service of the girl at the reception excellent. The outside sounds are not heard even though we were in the heart of the old port, but inside, you can hear the movements in the interior from other apartments. It wasn't something that bothered us. The room of high aesthetics, the cleanliness excellent as well as the equipment of the room with personal items.

Best view in Chania!

Location - perfectly nestled in the pedestrianised ancient harbour streets with rooms overlooking the best views in Chania!
We had the most amazing stay in Elia Zampeliou. The view from our room (room 7) overlooked the Venetian Harbour and parallel to the Lighthouse. This is the view in all the pictures you see of the harbour. The balcony was ideal to watch the world go by and to take in the stunning views.
The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. We had everything we needed, from beautiful Greek toiletries, air conditioning, robes, slippers, tea and coffee machine and even a fridge.
Staff in the hotel were super friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was in Elia Fatima Hotel which was literally 30 metres away up the adjacent street. Breakfast was 10/10, with traditional Cretan options along with yoghurts, honey, jams, fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, eggs, sausages, cakes, croissants etc.. perfectly delicious!
The harbour is full of hustle and bustle but that adds to its charm. It can be lively to early hours but it didn’t stop us from sleeping!
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely come back.
Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Rooftop Terrace

Located in the center of the harbor walk all of the rooms are clean and freshly updated.
A 500 year old home means no elevator, but that's part of the charm.
Wonderful staff, a complementary bottle of delicious local wine and a rooftop terrace with a killer view.

Hotel in the historic pedestrian center .Car parking is not nearby, walk about ten minutes. Clean rooms, friendly staff (no word in Italian). Great breakfast .The breakfast ladies very nice and kind, we asked to have breakfast a little before the , and we were granted without problems (thanks). Would recommend it. But from the sea points is very far. Good for downtown living, with shops and social life. The only flaw, as soon as we arrived we found the coffee capsules, in the following days they never put them back .. shame!
