Friendly family owners, great location, clean rooms. The room fit our family, the 4 of us really well. The location is perfect! Beautiful beach 1 min walk, deep pool with a spring board, bus stop to the centre which runs every 15mins located 1min walk out front of the apartment. Supermarket on the corner. We loved our stay and hope to return again.

Lovely getaway at Elma's Dream!

We loved our stay at Elma’s Dream. Andreas and his family were very lovely from the moment we arrived and super helpful with local area activities/taxi to the airport on our departure (£40 approx. one way). Our apartment was spacious and comfy, with a separate bedroom and a kitchen/living space. The beautiful beaches are close by with shops and cafes. We could walk into the central part of town/catch the local bus as well!

Great location. Close to beach, dining & bars. Good transportation & grocery stores nearby. About a 25-30 minute nice walk to the old pier & city centre.
Hotel is quiet, with a nice pool & bar.
Andreas & family are lovely & welcoming.
Would definitely like to return.

Spacious apartment, kind host, and a lovely beach nearby.

We stayed at Elma’s Dream Apartments after a symposium in Chania and it was a very good choice for a few more relaxing days. The apartment was much more spacious than I expected, with a separate bedroom, a real kitchen and dining/living area, so it felt more like a small flat than a holiday room. Our view was towards the pool, which was clean and pleasant.
The location is very convenient for the beach. There is no direct sea view, but this is normal in this area because buildings are not right on the beach. In practice, we were as close to the beach as possible. The beach is sandy, clean and the sea is shallow, so we could swim even though the weather was not very hot.
Andreas was a kind and calm host. He helped us organize a day trip to Balos, let us stay a little longer on the last day to get ready before leaving, and arranged a taxi to the airport. That made everything easier for us.
The sunbeds on the beach are a bit expensive, but this is not connected with the apartment. Andreas also offers beach equipment for rent, which can be useful.
I would gladly stay here again and stay longer for sure.

Andreas, the host was great. He let us check in soon, gave us lot of useful information for us on visiting places, local authentic food and drin options (vegan options too). His family is on the premises and takes care of all the apartments in the complex and the whole family is good. He has two dogs he has adopted. While the ilder dog is not so social, the younger one (Hercules) is very social and energetic. We arw already missing Hercules.
The accommodation is very nice and a good size for a couple. And had all the utensils we needed.
Andreas was very quick to respond to messages on WhatsApp, made our stay very comfortable.
