Simply Splendid
Our stay at Hilton Chania Old Town Resort & Spa was absolutely exceptional and, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we have had.
From the moment you step out of your taxi, you immediately feel that you are somewhere special. The service is outstanding from the very first moment, with a warm welcome and a genuinely personalised check-in experience that made us feel valued and very well looked after.
Our room was absolutely beautiful — brand new, stylish and finished to an incredibly high standard. It was equipped with all the latest technology and thoughtful details, while the sea view was simply stunning. Everything felt modern, comfortable and luxurious, without losing that warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The food was another highlight of our stay. We had the opportunity to dine at the different restaurants, and every meal was delicious. The quality of the food, presentation and service were consistently excellent, making each dining experience something to look forward to.
What really stood out, however, was the attention to detail and the service throughout the entire property. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional and genuinely committed to making our stay special.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Beautiful hotel, exceptional rooms, delicious food, breathtaking views and, most importantly, outstanding service.

Luxurious, service and perfect location!
Great & luxurious hotel, beautiful architecture. Very close to the town of Chania just a couple of minutes walk!
Everything just matches and is well thought off in the room, in the hotel just everywhere. It is little details which makes this an absolute five star hotel, like cooled water all day in the spa area including ice to cool your body after sauna, top notch service. Two bottles of water in the room. The breakfast is something special as well. Everything is brought to your table, fresh orange juice, bread. You can order anything you like, coffee, tea and warm and cold dishes (eggs, pancakes, Greek yoghurt with honey etc). I was a bit worried about the sunbeds. But don’t worry about sunbeds at the pool even in high season. When you arrive a bit later it is hard to get a bed at the six floor pool directly but they have a row of beds at the seventh floor as well. We loved that as it was quiet, more private, has an amazing view on the sea and with the same service of drinks and lunch. Just ask and they will come upstairs.
We arrived on our first day at 130AM indeed in the middle of the night, the person working at that time greeted us however as it was middle of the day, another person was making welcome drinks and brought our suitcase to the room . We felt very welcomed.
Every day in the week we have spend here was great, service was perfect. The calmness. The gym, the outdoor pool the indoor pool. Also our two teenagers had a great time.
One night we had dinner at the restaurant with perfect cooked meat, nice wines. Thank you to Giorgos for the tips on the wines and the list of perfect Greek wines after holiday as well!
Last but not least we had an early day trip planned before breakfast. The hotel arranged take away breakfast bags for us. Please note to ask for this before 9PM we did not know this and they arranged it anyway but good to know.
If we just have to state one thing that can be improved it is the temperature of the water in the pool on the balcony. Even now in August it was chilly during the day and night. Which was a pity as we barely used it because of that.
Definitely coming back when we travel to Crete again!!! And for everyone who is still in doubt, book this hotel you will not regret is.

We had a really great stay. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and you feel comfortable from the first moment. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and always in a good mood – it hardly gets any better.
We would like to express a special thank you to Ansar, who took care of our room. He was always friendly, attentive, and did his work excellently. Such employees make the stay even more pleasant and deserve great praise.
The food was also very delicious and varied. Overall, there is really nothing to complain about. We would come back anytime and can recommend this hotel without reservation. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

Tragic experience
Table reservation for 2 people for lunch
Tragic experience!!!!!
Completely inappropriate the choice of table!!
They enter the space 2 gentlemen and are led to a couch so they could sit next to each other ?? (and even the opposite couches of the set has been pulled to serve next door company where we would have to see from the right side of their back ) when in the space there were tables that we could sit opposite each other !
Of course by our own permission we changed table!
The funny thing about the case was that we were suggested to go inside while there were tables ( where we sat on our own suggestion ) outside .
Respect the Greek customers!!!
The most offensive event of course took place before we entered the hotel!
The parked-groom asked us where we were going and after we said we had a reservation for dinner and after it was confirmed by the reception ,
She "accompanied" us up to the restaurant floor and "watched" us for 10 minutes until the reservation officer arrived (we might have gone to other floors - but access there is only possible with a magnetic card).
For the first time in my life , someone is watching me until I sit at a table .

Excellent stay in Crete.
Excellent location for visiting the old port. The property is new and the level of comfort in the rooms is very high, as it is in the common areas. The services offered are appropriate for the property. The staff is very courteous and ready to satisfy every request with punctuality and precision.
