My children cried when they left
Stayed 2 weeks end of august 23. 2 adults and 2 boys aged 6 and 12.
Had the best time ever
The owner and his family were the kindest people you could imagine
The apartment were great, very clean plenty of space, good air con and good Wi-Fi. Excellent bathroom and shower as well.
Location was peaceful on a secluded beach, but that made snorkelling fantastic with loads of fish and clean sea. Free kayak and paddle boards were a great touch and we used then a lot.
The self service honesty cafe was brilliant as well, we used most days for lunch around the pool. The pool was second to none for an apartment in Greece, spotlessly clean, view was breathtaking and so peaceful. We loved it.
Nearby Kalyves was still quite Greek but we loved it, restaurants were great but didn’t rip you off. The town the other direction Almyrida was nice as well and a bit more touristy

Exceptional host, clean and relaxing
We stayed for 4 nights; our room (1) was very clean, comfortable and had a wonderful view over the sea plus a large terrace.
Kera is situated out of the village, surrounded by grape vines and very quiet.
It has a beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers overlooking the beaches which can be reached via a path.
Jurgos the host is exceptional- full of interesting facts about the area, generous with his time and facilities, really helpful and nothing is a problem!
The rooms are very reasonable for such wonderful service and location. We definitely plan to visit again. Ps If visiting, try his olive oil- it’s absolutely delicious!!

Great place, exceptional hospitality
Jiorgos was extremely welcoming. The cafe area has a great view of the sea and is open all day. Canoes and paddle boards are free to use and the beach is accesible by just a few steps. I was with 3 girlfriends and jiorgos made us feel very welcome. We did not stay the night as we were staying nearby but it was a great place to visit and we plan to come back. The grounds are surrounded by a vineyard and the pool looks lovely too.

Great relaxing place
A very quiet, beautiful and romantic place. Comfortable rooms, very nice pool, very coś to the beach (Just a few steps downstairs). The beach is sandy and stone, great for snorkeling, very wide, with quiet and shallow water, safe for children. You can take a boat and paddle to the island nearby. You can cook in the room or in the big kitchen which is also a sitting room. There are books in English, German, Polish and other languages. A great and very romantic place with spectacular views.

Peaceful Kera!
We've just came back from a week's vacation in Kera Apartments and we're so happy we've picked this place!
The apartments are located on a cliff, overlooking the Mediterranean See. They are quite basic, but that’s all we needed- a comfortable bed, a shower, and a small kitchenette. They are very clean and we were happy with the cleaning services throughout our stay here.
The complex includes a beautiful pool (including one for smaller kids), lots of vineyards, self-grown vegetables that one can pick, and a beautiful beach a few steps down where you can use their SUP boats and row to the nearby island, and buy some refreshments in the cantina. There’s also a communal balcony/dining room where you can pick your own drinks, and prepare your own breakfast, to enjoy while staring at the amazing sea below.
The location is near Chania, between the villages of Kalyves and Almirida. Our friendly host Yorgos and his family shared their recommendations with us on where to eat, what to buy and where to travel around the area. Their friendliness and amazing hospitality made our stay in Kera an exceptional “Home Away from Home” experience.
Highly recommended for those who are looking for a peaceful and quiet surrounding, in a wonderful location. I am ready to go back again!
