Perfect Cretan get away!

This apartment is ideally located...right in the centre of everything going on in Chania but quiet enough to escape if you want to!
We arranged with the apartment for them to collect us from the airport and was a fab service as, believe it was the owners mother who even gave us a brief guided tour en route to and from the airport.
Getting the negatives out of the way:- we were staying on the top floor and negotiating the very, very steep staircase was a bit of a mission especially when you are tall. Both of us cracked our heads on the first flight but think it burnt a few calories negotiating them a few times a day. Not for the faint hearted!
The shower was another small issue. No matter where you positioned the shower head it seemed to flood the bathroom! And although there is a drain in the middle of the floor it just never drained away so after every shower we were mopping up!
The only other minor issue was the communication with regard to making payment. A couple of times we were asked to be available to pay, the first time we didn't hear a thing. The second time we eventually met and because we were running late for a trip we actually arranged to settle on departure. If we'd just arranged that from the outset it would have been so much easier.
But apart from that this apartment is lovely. A perfect little space from where to enjoy charming Chania. A comfy bed, bright airy decor and a lovely little balcony where you can listen to Chania waking up or the hustle and bustle late into the evening. Shut the doors though and it's perfectly quiet.
Well air conditioned which was a god send. Basic but comfortable furnishings and on the whole lived up to everything we wanted from a base!
Tons and tons of cafes, bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. So many to choose from. We fell in love with Chania and will definitely be back. Would heartily recommend Krinio's studios!

Lovely apartment in amazing location with a most helpful owner

We really loved this apartment in a period house. It was a spacious first floor apartment facing onto a street in the old town, very quiet at night but with a little balcony giving a view over the bustling pedestrian way beneath. The owner Katerina, was helpful and thoughtful, leaving us nibbles and raki for our arrival and being available if we needed her. Very reasonably priced.
