Nice Hostel in Chania

I like the vibe of this place, dont really like staying in hostels but in this one even for several days, went there several times over the last few years. Its located in really nice neighborhood, not far from city center and girls who work there are always polite and ready to help, they can give you tips about everything regarding local attractions.
Its always fairly clean as well.

Awful.

Poorly educated ones. We paid more to take a room with a double bed and we were scammed. When we wanted to claim they got aggressive. We lost the money because we no longer wanted to stay there and they called us threatening. All very dirty and left

Scam

Quite a scam from the start. I take a more expensive room to have a single double bed and when I enter the room it is two beds, I ask for solution and they do not give it, not even the refund. And the worst part is that when we say we're going to complain, they tell us that we stole their cell phone from the front desk. They're crazy! Never go to this place

Amazing location, kind of dirty but it’s what you pay for

Excellent location!!! Away from the busier and touristy city. Straight walk down the street to the beach/ water. Quieter area that is still walking distance to everything. Nice hostel with organized system and staff. Bathrooms felt dirty with lots of gnats but typical for a shared bathroom hostel. I liked how they had paper towels. Air conditioning didn’t work well and doors didn’t lock except the main door at night. Kitchen had everything you need to cook and they had outdoor seating but wear bug spray. Cute cats around and coffee shop is the lobby of the hostel which even locals go to for coffee which was cool.

Totally unacceptable.

They tell us at first that pets are allowed and then they call you and tell you they are not allowed. Tourists, however, can well have pets with them. And they say they're animal friendly.
