A perfect hotel and holiday

This was the best family holiday we’ve had in years.
The hotel is located a little out of the way but 25-30 mins on the regular chania 21 bus which starts and stops outside of the hotel.
Staff are really nice, not fake nice, genuinely nice. They do whatever they can for you and if they can’t help, they find a person who can.
The views across the bay are amazing- we were in an exec pool room and we had uninterrupted views per the sea all day, and when the cicadas stop, you hear waves crashing all night long.
Food is regular and constant. Breakfast lunch and dinner has a fussy eater/kids area but Italian nights followed by other themed evenings never miss.
There is a snack bar which does gyros most of the day, although it would be nice to have a bit more in the way of crisps or nuts about, it’s a tiny issue.
The hotel itself is immaculate at all times with the pools beautiful. Yes it’s an older more traditional style in places, but that’s ok. Just don’t expect smooth white walls and the like.
Minuses - internet is a bit sporadic, a few more snacks and drinks would be good, but small things.
We’ve booked to go back for 2 weeks next year, totally chilled

Amazing hotel experience!!

Amazing hotel with an amazing spa! My sister and I got a body and face massage from Yoandra and Maria, and it was amazing! They were super kind and professional and we greatly enjoyed our experience. The hotel breakfast is excellent and the staff is super kind. The pools and overall rooms are clean and well-kept and the room service is great! I truly recommend this hotel!

Amazing Experience With Spa

Had a lovely full body massage and facial by Katrina at the spa, she was lovely and exceeded by expectations from the massage and also added in a head massage at the end. The atmosphere and service was amazing from the minute we walked in and all staff were lovely. Highly Recommend

Room AC did not work, told the front office, they sent technician, technician told me it was just thermostat i need to put it on zero. It was cold for a few mins but i think they turn it off at night because i will be sweating all night. At night the room smelled like sewage. The front desk (that looked to be the manager) at the check out counter asked how our stay was, when we told him these things, he didn't take any responsibility or show any understanding. Told us that we should have communicated that with them as if it was our fault. Plus, we did communicate it. At the end of the day, we probably wouldnt have written a review but that man at the counter really pushed us to do so, as he was a bit rude while we merely were responding to his question. We definitely expected more from a 5 star resort. We have stayed at many many many 5 stars but this was probably one of the worst. The main reasons we were staying here versus other 5 stars was because it was beachfront but the beach thats in front is probably the worst beaches ive been too, too rocky and not comfortable. We stayed at that beach for 5 min before going to another one.
We definitely wont be coming back.
