Excellent all round
Rooms were specially clean comfortable and well laid out ,will a very generous size, they even had a beach umbrella to take with you for the 5 minute walk to the beach .
Parking was on street but it was really easy to use … so a perfect stay .

Comfort your staying at Notus Hotel
Everything is amazing . Clean , space , central area, You start your excursions from there toward all directions, mountain and lovely beaches especially southern Chania

basic, great as a landing pad for a night or two
Left a review with booking.com, whom i'd booked with, saying the place was clean, basic but okay, I did mention that the view was poor - scrubland (it has a lot of stray dogs and rubbish, not great, i didn't even say that on the review!)
So the owner got my phone number and sent texts for the rest of our holiday (we went elsewhere once we saw how basic the hotel was) calling me a "weirdo, and that he has defend himself from me” as I'm a "neurotic lunatic for a mental hospital" it really coloured our holiday, i’ve attached them as proof it they let me keep them up.
Reminder to not putting your phone number on the booking, it’s a bit of an old fashioned when it comes to lone female travellers (I was a mum with my very young daughter).
The hotel is more of a hostel, not a hotel in the usual sense, just a town house, pensione style, very utilitarian.
also the water pressure is lousy, we did not have a decent shower there, day or night.
it's main view at the front is undeniably a piece of untended waste land, there are no sea views.
it is in the more industrial/residential part of town on a dusty street, a place to lay your head for a night or two no more. look at google earth to see what’s in front of the hotel.
this establishment is also a brisk 15 minutes away from the interesting part of town, on the other side away from the beach, street lights run out after a certain time to these roads, all useful to consider. check the map to see where this is..

Your persistence in writing fictional statements about me and our property two years after your stay is beyond understanding. It makes you sound ridiculous and obsessive about minor matters -your attitude proves my argument about you.
Living in Chelsea gives you an arrogant perspective on how to behave towards others and a lack of respect.

Cons: The seaview is barely a seaview. You get a sliver of a seaview that is not even straight on, you see it from the left side of the balcony. So not worth to pay for it. Also it says there is parking offered, but there is not. There is a free parking lot not too far away, but it’s not tied to the property in anyway and you need to get there early to find parking. Otherwise you are parking on the street and have to pay during the week, with a 4 hour maximum. So I do feel cheated by the description of the room and it’s amenities.
