So wonderfully charming and unique

The charm and location of this hotel are simply perfect, I understand the 5 star reviews now. It's close to everything and makes a great base when you're travelling around the Chania/the Island. The room itself had a small kitchenette which also came in handy. The hostess Eleutheria was so knowledgeable and passionate about the island too, she provided some great tips on history, what to see, what to avoid, and most importantly where to eat! We really enjoyed the stay overall. If I had one small complaint it would be the noise coming from the unit above our room. At times there was a lot of sound (I assume footsteps) that we could hear. Not late at night thankfully, but it was loud when it was happening. I think that is because of the age of the building however, and since the location and age is part of the charm it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chania.

Reception gave us a wonderful welcome upon our arrival.
We received fine recommendations for restaurants and local sights.
The room was beautiful and spacious.

I am so happy that we found this hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed on the third floor and it was an amazing time. The hotel is owned by a local family and the woman that runs it is an amazing person. She was very hospitable and friendly and gave us tons of local knowledge and restaurant suggestions. Our trip was infinitely better because of her knowledge and wisdom of the island she showed us what beaches what restaurants and what areas to visit. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Another thing that is perfect about this hotel is it’s located in the center of old town so you are right in the heart of everything. One thing to note there is no elevator so just be prepared to carry your suitcases to your floor. It’s not a big deal. I just wanted to put that out there because it matters to some people. When we return to Crete, I will 100% stay at this hotel again.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. My room was not in the main building, but located on the street behind the main reception area. I still felt very safe, but would have preferred to be located in the main building. The location is great to walk everywhere though. The owner coordinated a last minute taxi ride to the airport which I was very appreciative of. I would return again.

Beautiful small hotel in fabulous location

This is an utterly charming 8 or 9 bedroom hotel in a fantastic location right in the Old Town. We had a suite with a front facing balcony called the Yellow Room. It was just delightfully decorated with traditional furniture and curtains around the bed, wooden flooring, lovely features here and there, gorgeous window and door shutters.
The owner absolutely makes sure that you are welcome. She has a small team of two other ladies and all three are extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel feels very intimate, comfortable and welcoming, with a family feel.
I won’t give any spoilers but there are small things done each day that make your stay extra special.
This hotel and its staff made our first time in Chania extra amazing.
