Charming stay in Chania

We had a wonderful time staying in Porto Vecchio for 3 nights. Beautifully fitted out, very comfortable bed, quiet at night & lovely balcony over street. Sotiris looked after us very well & was always available to answer questions. Highly recommend staying here

Wonderful small hotel I excellent location with excellent service.

Wonderful small newly renovated hotel on a quiet street in the heart of Chania Old Town. Maria and Kostas, the owners, provide excellent service and were very responsive to our needs including a very late checkout and booking us a taxi to the airport. We stayed in a lovely spotlessly clean second floor room (1st floor in Europe) with a gorgeous balcony that is immersed in a bougainvillea tree. The room has modern comforts and is well planned with a comfy bed, good shower, fridge, kettle, Nespresso coffee maker, and toaster. Coffee pods, tea, sugar, bottled water and snacks are provided. There is a separate small courtyard restaurant that closes at 9pm. Overall a very comfortable hotel and I would be very happy to stay here again.

A special place in Chania

Wow, we had an amazing stay at the Porto Vecchio apartments. Perfect location in the old town and close to the Venetian harbour. This newly opened apartment is spotlessly clean, family operated and the attention to detail is very evident. Nikos and his family was really helpful and certainly made our stay special. The place is perfect for a short break or even longer! Bedroom was very comfortable with excellent air-conditioning, bathroom was immaculate with a great shower. The Gallery room had a romantic balcony for those special moments. We have no hesitation in recommending Porto Vecchio Apartments and will certainly be booking again soon.

We had an excellent stay at Porto Vecchio. The hotel itself is situated right in the old town about 2 streets back from the sea, in a pretty little corner on a lovely back street. As the old town is pedestrianised, we were dropped at the top of the main street by our taxi from the airport, 25 mins away, and had a short 5 min walk to the property. The reception is not manned at all times but someone was always at the end of the phone should you need any help and I believe, not far away either. The hotel is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated in a modern minimal style and you are provided with everything you could need. Air con worked well, the room had Netflix, a coffee maker, kettle, fridge. Room service was done every other day and nothing was too much trouble for the owner, she helped us book a taxi home and was always on hand and very friendly, as was nearly everyone we met in Chania. Overall, great stay, great hotel, 10/10 - would recommend, and would stay again.
