Beach Day
We used the sunloungers on the beach for a lovely and relaxed beach day.
Fantastic service bringing you drinks and snacks straight to your lounger and in such a gorgeous location.
The sea here is perfect for swimming as it is such a gentle slope in and the beach is absolutely beautiful. We spent longer than we intended and loved every minute.

Everething was very good. Very nice stuff, beautiful place and wonderful service for *** hotel. We are very satisfyed.

Cute bar but slow service
We stopped at the bar of this beachfront hotel for a "quick snack" at noon. Snack yes since we ate a baguette and a toast, but "fast" not really.... 40 minutes of waiting for a very easy order (baguette, toast, beer and water). Definitely to review something in the kitchen and in the timing of commands. Despite the above however friendly staff.

Great family experience
We had a wonderful stay at the Alkyon Beach Hotel. The location was just great, room was clean and comfortable and staff always helpful and courteous. The variety of the buffet was not great but food was delicious and there was always something to choose from.Highly recommend this hotel.

One star for location, Hotel stuck 20 years ago, ants in the room, rude hotel owner, avoid it.
First point to mention, is that the only positive of this hotel is its location, which is only suitable for people, who dont mind being in the middle of nowhere. Also receptionist, who’s name was Maria was very kind and helpfull. Thats it.
The rooms are partially renovated, but still very old and unusable. Shower was leaking, drain was leaking and the toilet looked like somebody smashed it. The bathroom has a terrible smell of septic and was not cleaned properly. The closet in the room was empty, nasty and old, with no shelfs. The TV has only 3 to 4 channels.
Air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working for 4 days (of 11 days). The air conditioning regulary turns off during day and night in two of our rooms we had booked. When we arrived in the hotel, there were ants all over the room.
Hotel is overall dirty, owner of the hotel is rude, not willing to talk to you about your concerns. He just runs away rudely turning away. Hotel owner keeps regulary turning off air conditioning in the dining room, making all of the people sweat during lunch and dinner. If u point it out to him, he says “he is saving energy”. Never heard something ridiculous like that. And what he pointed out, counts on everything in the hotel. Also the towels were not changed regulary, because “they have not enough”. There was a “schnitzel” for dinner once, but a lady stood there making sure, everyone takes only one piece.
The area of hotel reception has also turned off air conditioning, because of “saving energy”. The lobby was very dirty, regular cleaning was out of question. Random stray animals and dog walking through the hotel.
The pool looked oily with damaged corners, it was easy to hurt yourself.
Random people from outside the hotel came to swim in the pool.
Whole concept of this hotel is to gather money from guests, basicslly everywhere they can.
Hotel owner owns also a shop next to the hotel, where you can buy bottled water, because they dont give you any.
The food was dull and repetitive, so that you visit the restaurant next to the hotel, which is owned by the hotel owner. Look at the pictures attached for food quality.
The only public bathroom is next to the reception, which often is in a terrible state, i would say nasty, as the people from the pool and beach have to go there.
After arrival, you have to pay a environmental tax, but they dont give you a recipe and you have to pay by card.
They only use plastic cups everywhere, producing lot of pollution, that ends up in the nearby nature and sea.
After all, i think the Greek ministry of tourism should take a look at this disaster, its a shame for greeks and Corfu.
Avoid this hotel at all costs.
