Helpful, comfortable, & convenient

We ran into a glitch at the other hostel in Ioannina, so went to Backpackers & Travelers to see if they had any rooms available. The gentleman who runs the hostel was incredibly helpful. He called our other hostel for us and worked out the confusion, offered for us to hang out at his hostel until we were able to check in at our other hostel, and gave us several good restaurant recommendations, with fascinating information about the food traditions in the region. We wished we could have cancelled our reservation at the other hostel and stayed at Backpackers & Travelers. If you are traveling to Ioannina, I recommend this hostel as the best for customer service, convenience, & comfort.

Friendly, clean and welcoming hostel in the heart of Ioannina

I can only recommand this hostel to anyone visiting Ioannina. Situated in the city centre, close from the bus station, you will have everything (bar, restaurants, supermarket, lake, museums, …) close by and you will be able to walk everywhere very easily. Kostas and Giorgos were so generous, nice, helpful and full of advices. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom always immaculate. I had an amazing time hanging out on the nice shady terrace, and had a wonderful time in Ioannina. Θα επιστρέψω και σας ευχαριστώ παρά πολύ για όλα.

Lovely hostel

Ariana and Kostas runs the most wonderful place! Just passed by on our way to Vikos-Aoos and got great tips from Kostas of what to do, as well as the best service and kindness from Ariana. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - you won't feel like a stranger. Thank you!

Amazing atmosfeer, rooms and staff

Had an wonderful time as a solo backpacker in this beautiful hostel in the center of the town. Had great conversations with the owner Kosas, he is the best. Also the rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful. All the rooms were clean and the atmosfeer in the hostel was great. Easy to meet new friends and do activities together. Thank you for the great times!
