Wonderful Easter break
Wonderful guest house very close to beautiful lake plastira! Top location close to the village and lake. Mr Lampros is very helpful and able to provide good tips to go around the area. Rooms are nice and traditional,however with poor insolation.Tasty breakfast all homemade( pies, cakes, jam).maybe they need to consider making bigger quantities to serve more.

We stayed three nights at Akrolimnia's guesthouse and we loved it! It is really near by the lake, like 2 minutes walk and you can enjoy a beautiful lake view from your room. The room was a bit old fashion decorated by it offers all the confort you need. A brand new bathroom with hot water and a king size bed in front of the fireplace.
Breakfast was really nice, all the products was local, from Mrs Labros fresh eggs to the homemade jam, it was delicious.
Akrolimnia is a real guesthouse and M Labros is a true host from the mountain. He will give you all the good tips and information you might need to discover Plastira and the surroundings.

Average accommodation on a superb landscape
The guest house location is indeed a close walk from the lake shore in an idyllic surrounding nature landscape. The room furniture definitely requires maintenance (falling drapes, unpolished wood, insect eradication) and sound isolation in rooms was inadequate. However, the heating and hot water supplies were very good.
There was an apparent trend from the owners' part to cut on spending: basic breakfast supplies in small portions and meticulous turning off the lights / keeping the reception fireplace off. They provided helpful information on nearby trekking and local tips.

Nice premises, not well mantained, terrible personnel
We stayed for three nights at this hotel (me, wife and a newborn child). We took the decision based the room descriptions and ratings from Booking.com where it has a quite high rating from a lot of reviews. We made the booking over the phone for a room that was 27 sq. m with fireplace. When we arrived at the hotel we we're given a room with fireplace but only 18 sq m at the same price. The owner denied what she said on the phone when we made the booking. Anyway, since it was her word against hours and we had no other place to stay, we decided to stay since the room was at least warm and clean and well furnished. However after spending the first 2 days we realized that the owners where VERY rude and unprofessional. Let me be more specific. First of all they don't follow common sense so it is very difficult to make a conversation to resolve even the simplest complaint. The breakfast can hardly be called breakfast, it is the poorest I've had EVER. It is also served very unprofessionally.
The most however important problem of this hotel is that it has ZERO sound isolation. That means that I could clearly listen to conversations not just to neighbor rooms but also to rooms on the opposite side of the hotel!! One night I made complaints about the sounds coming from next room. I later found out it was a room in the same floor but at the opposite side!
The bottom line is, stay away from this hotel. It may appear nice in photos but the service is unprofessional, the owners rude and more than eager to manipulate you.

Romantic gateway at Lake Plastira!
Been to this lovely guest house for 3 days in November 2009. We chose this guest house following a lot of search in the internet. The room was very clean, very well furnished, with a fireplace, tv, a/c, fridge, lovely balcony overlooking the Lake Plastira. The owner showed us all the rooms which were also spacious , each uniquely decorated. A home made breakfast has prepared for us in the morning, at the beautiful hall by the fireplace.
Mr Lambros was kind enough to suggest to us where to go, where to eat etc. We enjoyed a tour round the lake, visiting a number of cute villages, the Pelekiti monastery, the Tavropos water dum, viewing very beautiful landscapes. Had lunch at Korompilias tavern highly suggested!
Even though Lake plastira is well known as a winter destination, we were told that it is also busy in the summer, having a beautiful beach.
We also got the change to do horse riding next to the lake, as well as hydrocycling!
We will definitely visit this lovely guest house again. Visit their website to see more phots and info!
