Lovely place
We like very much our room. It was 3. Floor and balkany wiew on the pool.
Pool was big enough to swim and clean. Sunbeds are enough .
Rooms are clean and stuff friendly.

Karpathos/Vergina hotel.
Fresh apartment hotel on a hill above the city and the beach. We thought it was a bit too dry for our taste. But no disturbing traffic and quiet in the evenings and nights. No hotel for those who have difficulty walking.
The two-room apartment including kitchen was newly renovated and fresh, good equipment, fridge, freezer, induction hob, sandwich grill, kettle, hairdryer, etc. There was dish soap, a dish brush, and hand soap when we arrived. The beds are new and completely okay.
The cleaning was great, very nice and accommodating staff.
Grocery store and business with fruit and vegetables right nearby.
Against addition, was not needed as the evenings are relatively cool.
The hotel is quite lively though. We were disturbed by screaming children who were at the pool early in the morning.
The pool area is generally nice and fresh with sun loungers for everyone without having to get up early in the morning.
On the day of the trip there was no shower to borrow or to rinse off salt water from the sea before swimming in the pool, which was a minus.
We rented a scooter and drove to Amoopis two beaches, one with a nice long sandy beach and clear water but many people and expensive sun loungers. Andra Amoopi beach to the right is only a pebble beach.
A plus for the nearest beach in Karpathos town: Pigadia beach if you want space and quiet around you, two sun loungers and umbrella for €10. Good taverns with a nice view.
Next time we will choose a different, less hilly hotel and a child-free hotel.

Nice hotel with calm location
Very nice hotel, with very nice and friendly staff. We stayed one week, were lucky to get one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was great. Specially for the price. Cleaning of the rooms were very good, change of towels and bed sheets several times during the week. Almost no bugs, flies or moscitoes in the room. The hotel is placed on a small hill some minutes walk from the city centre, but this was also very good with very silent and calm surroundings. Nice, clean and delicate pool. Only negative I could find was that they market the room "with AirCondition", without informing that they charge EUR10,- extra pr day for the use of it. Due to comfortable night temperatures, we decided not to use it. Easy to park roadside outside the hotel. When we arrived, there were handsoap in the bathroom and dishwasher soap in the kitchen. Room well equipped with toaster, coffee percolator, water coocker, wine opener and all kithcen eqt for two. Nice refrigerator with freezer. Would highly recommend this hotel, specially if they renovate the rest of the rooms in same way as the room we had.

Could have been better... or worse
Had booked small 2 room apartment, got its own little house. Clean and fresh cleaning 6 times a week change of towels 2 times and sheets 1 times. A very worn and small bed for two adults. 140 wide steel bed, loose ribs and the suspension felt. We solved this by putting 3 thicker blankets under the sheet and lying still. Not optimal. The kitchen poorly equipped, had to ask for kitchen towel and buy dish soap and dish brush itself. Never swam in the pool but used the sun loungers once. Something crowded.
Surprised Apollo has this in its range felt 70's and b- bigt. Dark interior and sloppy curtain length as privacy in the bedroom.
Close to supermarket which had most things. Very steep slopes up and down to the beach and restaurants. 4.5% slope on the slopes.
Although this was cheap, I do not think book this more but will be more in the center.

Warning
So outdated and that couples do not get a double bed under there are only single beds of 90, sleep in it as a child. Me and my partner couldn't sleep together for 14 days. Large wide wooden frames between the beds. 200euro for ac plus tax 300euro and if you want safety box then you have to pay additional amount 500euro had to be enough. Most unhygienic pool I've seen my new bikini that was purple discolored after 2 dips to blue gray and yellow spots on. Not a single table or chairs around the pool only old sun loungers and parasols in the galon…. Unbelievable that they get to call this hotel the e closer hostel, there is no shower around the pool and the last day of late transfer so offer them no shower. So disappointed...
