Great experience at Kerkini Lake
Very nice stay at Kerkini Lake in Greece! We stayed there for one night because we would have liked to see the water buffalo, among other things, unfortunately these were not at the lake at the time of year! Nevertheless, we had a nice day even in this hotel, they also cooked especially for us in the in-house tavern although it was closed day! There are many dishes of water buffalo! The rooms are rustic and very clean! A small adequate breakfast is also very good.

Beautiful closing days!
I will write as a customer at Restaurant Aquaea! A very nice environment cool ( it was 35 degrees ) , the food without excess was perfect , as if it was cooked by mom at home , delicious , the prices very good because we ate only buvalisi meat , the staff polite and very helpful , we ate quickly and very beautifully , in the end he brought us a homemade sweet in brave portions ! Our kids were excited!!!Of course we have already recommended the store and we will go back to do activities too! Also very beautiful place - traditional with interest! Well done!

Beautiful stay on the lake
What a fantastic treat to stay here for a few days. As part of a photography trip organised by a friend, we stayed here at the beginning of February, and took advantage of daily trips on the lake to photograph the beautiful Dalmatian Pelicans, organised by Giannis and Babis at the hotel.
The hotel is charming, in a beautiful village minutes from Lake Kerkini. The communal areas are cosy and warm, with huge open fires keeping the chill out, the bedrooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with fridge, large comfortable beds and decent hot showers. My room also had a balcony. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the breakfast also very good.
All the staff were great, very welcoming, helpful and always smiling!
The boat trips were fantastic, priced competitively, and provided plenty of opportunities to take photos of the beautiful pelicans on the lake, also finishing our trip with some shots of a kingfisher on the dock. There are plenty of other places locally for birdwatching, hiking and exploring, and the hotel staff are pleased to help.
I can highly recommend both the hotel and the boat trips, we enjoyed it so much we are thinking of returning next year.

Lovely experience
We went to Kerkini to experience the lake and its wildlife, and of course, to take many many pictures along the way. This Hotel is very close to the lake, which was a huge plus. Aside from that, our two guides Yannis and Babis made sure we always had everything we needed. As for the hotel, the rooms are pretty big and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were great too, which was important as there are very few other options nearby. I never had the feeling that I was missing out on something. Everyone was super friendly to us. If you want to experience the rich wildlife of Kerkini, I would say that this Hotel is the best choice.
