Of the nice accommodation for the area of Kymi

Very nice accommodation. We went friends one day.Renested people.Very careful rooms in decoration and materials Beautiful view, very good outlook. Quiet location.Sure you go again.Good continuation to her people.

Great hotel in Kymi

Great hotel in a place unfortunately very disappointing. A cathedral in the desert!!!! Very clean hotel, excellent service. Friendly and always helpful staff. The only flaw is that they speak very little English. Only Greek!!!!! However Rating more than positive.

Nice location stunning view

Excellent location with a stunning view of Kymis bay. Each room has its own unique decoration and theme. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Only five minutes walk from the main square and about 10 minutes drive to the port's promenade!!!

It's an absolute gem!

This is a lovely little hotel. Originally an old house in the traditional Kymi style, immaculately renovated and redecorated with a lot of touches of individual style. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. Short walking distance to restaurants and everything else of interest in the centre of town. Breakfast fit for a king, very generous and with high quality local ingredients, cooked and served by the owner, Mr. Antonis, who is a lovely host and at all times made sure we have an enjoyable stay. Amazing hospitality, felt less like a hotel and more like visiting an uncle who was happy to see us. We will be visiting Kymi again and again (that part of Evia island has a lot about it), and the Archontiko will be the place to stay, every time. Excellent!

I will be back'certainly

16th to 19th of July 2021. Couple's trip.
Pros:
1) Really quiet and only few meters away from the living center of the town.
2) Mr.Antonis, Mrs.Maria and the cleaning lady were all genuinely polite and really helpful and they adviced us where to eat.
3) Fluffy soft pillows and cleaning every day. They are also changing towels every day.
4) Spectacular view of the sea and of the island of Skyros.
5) Different breakfast every day, according to your preferences. They even can bring it to your room and sit on your balcony with the view.
6) Rooms with a character, since each of them has its own color (we had the light green room called Amfithea with the painted angels above our bed).
7) They have free toiletries at your disposal like soap, shampoo, disinfecting wipes and antibacterial gel.
8) The owners gave us a small gift to remember our trip there (a decorative flower for our coffee table).
Cons:
1) It is located on the middle of the city of Kymi, up in the mountain & not at the port of Kymi. So, you have to rent a car to go to the beach. The nearest is at the port, so 4km away & the nicest (organized with umbrellas and bar with refreshments and food) is 7km away.
2) Inside the room there is floored air-conditioning, that works. But, if you want your room to be like North-Pole-ice-cold, then you will be disappointed.
Overall, our staying there was a nice experience and I am sure that we will visit it again.
