Perfect holiday!
Great experience! Very friendly staff. A lot of sportfacilities. Rooms were spacious and brandnew. Two pools and a lot of space to sit at the pool or at the beach. Close to the airport, only 15 min drive. You can sit outside to eat with stunning view. A supermarket across the street if you need something. There they are very friendly too. We will come back because we had just a perfect holiday at Kouros Palace!

Raw chicken and dodgy doors
The hotel has been very well refurbished however it doesn’t live up to a 5 star experience. Our last night was a disaster- raw chicken served at the evening meal (I don’t feel my complaint about this at the time was taken seriously at all which is very concerning from a food safety point of view) and we discovered the ladies toilet doors in the main building could only be unlocked from the outside. Thankfully my husband was nearby so was able to come and let me out of the toilet every time. However it seems someone else wasn’t so lucky!
We complained about both instances. We were told by the lady on reception (couldn’t find the restaurant manager) that the chicken was okay because there was “no blood”. Despite the fact the chicken was COMPLETELY RAW. And that I must not know how to use door handles. The food was on par with a school canteen and a lot of things were not operating when we arrived- we arrived on the first evening the hotel re-opened.
It’s a shame because the hotel is beautifully renovated, the location is quiet but conveniently located for the airport, and there’s a great car rental place opposite- but the food and customer service is what really holds this hotel back

Fantastic place
We stayed at the renovated Kouros Palace Hotel. Very nice new and stylish rooms with all of the needed comfort and luxury.
Breakfast with a great view and plenty of choices for all of the meals.
The staff is very helpfull and friendly.

Wonderful holiday and amazing staff!
We had an amazing holiday at Kuros Palace and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a lovely atmosphere and exceptionally friendly staff. A special thank you to Mr. Johny Ric, who was always smiling, incredibly helpful, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. His kindness and positive attitude made our holiday even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend Kuros Palace to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We would be delighted to come back!

Honest Review
Like many people my partner and I booked this hotel based off the AI photos that were uploaded while the hotel was being refurbished. We paid around £1000 for a week stay which I would probably say is a fair asking price for this hotel (it is now listed for ~£1500).
Like many others we were reading the reviews in the weeks and days before our stay, which of course made us a bit nervous before going. We toyed with the idea of changing hotels, but ultimately decided to stay where we were.
Starting with the positives:
The pool area is lovely, well kept and the bar is open throughout the day and sometimes the staff came around to take drinks orders. The buffet restaurant, although not much variety on different days, was good and the food they did have was tasty. They showed the world cup in the evenings which for us was a plus. The reception and staff in general were always really helpful, we were taken to our room on a golf buggy and the staff member helped us with our luggage. There was no need to get up early for sunbeds - with the two pools there were plenty of sunbeds available and we had the easy option of strolling down to the beach if we wanted to.
Negatives:
Starting with the room - the rooms were only cleaned and made up every 2 days, which was a bit surprising for a 5*. When our room was first changed, they did not resupply the toilet roll, or replace the water we had used in the fridge. The shower area was also poorly designed, the tiles did not slant back into the drain so if you had any longer than a 2 minute shower the water would seep into the corridor. This could be unique to our room as we did not see any other reviews regarding this. We ended up having to use 2 towels to make a barrier so our room wouldn't be flooded. The selection of drinks in the all inclusive were ok, but it seemed as though you had to pay for a lot of other drinks, which obviously made options quite limited. The fact that the Japanese restaurant was €65 per person was also disappointing, as this limited us to going to the buffet restaurant or going to Kos Town. Although, I think this may change in future as when we went up there for drinks, only one table were eating. The final thing is the location, it's not near anything really. The bus into town and back cost €32 for the two of us - which isn't bad really. It is hard to blame the hotel for the location of course, as we probably should have checked before booking - however the price this hotel is currently listed for isn't justifiable.
Overall, there are definitely nice things about the hotel, but I think what has happened is they have spent a lot of money on this refurbishment, and they are now trying to get some cash back into the business quickly, which is why the hotel is so expensive for what it is, and why when you get there you do have to pay for a lot of things that would normally be included in the all inclusive in an actual 5*. Realistically this is a 4* hotel at most, and the if the price was around £900-£1000 I would say it's worth going. However I do think they seriously need to reconsider the pricing as you can get a stay which would be a lot better for the price they're asking now (currently asking £1537 pp).
