Wild

Stayed at the acapulco for a week in June with 2 mates. The rooms and pool area are all fine, rooms get cleaned every day and air con nice and cold. Bathroom had a slight drainage issue and shower takes a while to warm up but I think that's just how the water is round there. Hotel is round the corner from the top end of the Laganas strip but good location to get anywhere on the island from.
What makes this hotel is the staff. As soon as you arrive you get a warm welcome along with a free shot. They encourage all the groups to make friends and everyone ends up drinking together. They ring a bell to get everyone over for free shots and this happens all day! Only issue with the bar is drinks prices are a bit high for a budget hotel, but the free shots kind of make up for it.
Many thanks to Marinos, Nancy and the family for a fantastic holiday! I'm still recovering from it now!

Disappointed

Very basic rooms which were quite unclean especially the bathroom sink which was covered in lime scale. The room was unbearably hot and the Aircon did not work, so I had to sleep with the balcony door open. The bar was directly below my room so it was very noisy which didn't bother me too much, but all through the night all you can hear is dogs barking, cats fighting, then cockerels.. felt like I was in a farm yard.
Pool area was ok, but small. If you want to use the jacuzzi you have to put a euro in the slot on the side. Also I booked on the basis it was adults only, which wasn't the case as the owners grandchild was running around jumping in the pool, which again wasn't a big deal but not what was advertised.
My main gripe about the hotel was the owners/staff. Very rude, abrupt and ignorant. I expect if we'd spent more time in their bar spending money that may not have been the case! My toilet broke which took two days for it to be fixed.. my friend got accused of losing a spare key, but actually the staff had it, but no apology just rudeness. Also the cleaners (who don't actually clean) took the spare change off of the side both days my friend had left it, which is theft.
Also the rooms make a beeping sound when you close the balcony doors, is that to highlight we had gone out?
On departure no goodbye l, safe journey etc.. again just rude!!
Would not recommend, far better and friendlier places elsewhere!

Honestly the place does have a pool and good location but man it’s not clean. They did not clean our place one time and blamed us saying we locked it from inside. We WERENT EVEN HOME. Prob just racist bc we were albanian but still that was messed up that’s all

DO NOT STAY HERE!

DO NOT take any notice of the reviews left as excellent and good. Just finished our girls holiday to this apartments. We weren’t expecting much but we got the very minimal. Rooms are nothing like the photos, they are very old and dated. We didn’t even have a teaspoon in the room. The lock on the front door hardly worked. You were there a minute or so trying to open and lock it. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor with a terrace. No lift so had to carry suitcases up the stairs. Great but when you want to sit out on a night it’s not good in the pitch black. There was a light that was flickering, we asked the staff if this could be fixed the day we got there. And was told everyday “it will be tomorrow” it still never got done. We did get offered to move rooms but they didn’t have anymore two bedroom apartments available and only studios. You aren’t allowed to have any snacks/drinks around the pool unless bought from the pool bar. Which I think is abit ridiculous considering you’re on a self catering holiday. The thing I’m most annoyed about is the fact you get looked at sheepishly if you don’t want to drink alcohol or you refuse there “free shots” the free shots are vile. All the staff care about is you spending a fortune in there bar. One toilet roll at a time, this isn’t good between 4 girls. We tried so much to avoid the bar staff as we felt really pushed into spending money there. Honestly I could say so much but I won’t be returning here. Just spend a little more as there are so many more nice apartments/hotels! Oh and one more thing. The first night my bed was absolutely covered in these huge ants soon as I pulled the sheet back!!

Perfect spot and great people

Was a perfect sort of spot for anyone going to zante. Nice clean rooms, pool and it is a couple minutes walk from the strip. If I was to go to Zante again, I would go here. The family/staff who run the place are great, really friendly and a good laugh, always giving free shots and keeping the party going. Food was nice aswell, had all sorts from there and didnt have any issues. Cant forget the free range pomeranians roaming about. If you go, make sure you get some Raki with them. Yamas!
