Comfortable and close to the beach
We usually stay here when in Laganas, Zakynthos. Alkyonis offers exactly what we are looking for. It is a nice hotel, the family who runs it is really friendly. The hotel is clean, with an outdoor pool and a bar, it is cozy and close to the beach. Breakfast is fresh and a good start for our days! The rooms are spacious, well equipped,and comfortable. Good value for the price.

It’s my second time staying here and based on the amazing service received once again, the location and the amenities, this hotel ticks every box for a comfortable and memorable stay in Zante. Massive thank you to all the staff, both front of house and the unseen ones that keep this amazing little gem ticking along while we all slept - extra big thanks for Markiss and Panos who always great with a smile and a kind word or 2 ❤️

Not for families, but for kids. Breakfast to improve. "Homemade" and little "hotel" management
Hotel in need of renovation and major maintenance. the room was clean, out of habit in hotels disinfect furniture and sanitary and honestly I did not find dirt. the spaces in front of the rooms were very dusty and should be cleaned with greater assiduity '. the breakfast and 'improvable, for what it costs MUST take courses in Hotellerie (and in Greece there are expo and industry events); jams open to the air without any respect for the rules of 'HACCP (must use single portions), drinks without label (buy self-cooling dispensers!!!), cakes and biscuits infested by ants because not protected. the breakfast had the appearance of a homemade and not a hotel! The parking they provide is insufficient and I happened to be unable to take the car because a rude (and they could not readily spot it because they had not taken the plates!) blocked my car. They could fly, if only they invested in training and spent some money on improvement!

Le nostre camere vengono pulite quotidianamente e la valutazione della pulizia da parte della maggioranza dei nostri ospiti è molto alta. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, offriamo una selezione di prodotti locali freschi, molto apprezzati dai nostri clienti (la valutazione media è 10). Ci dispiace che non abbia incontrato il suo gusto personale.
Riguardo al parcheggio, lo spazio è limitato nella zona di Laganas, ma facciamo sempre del nostro meglio per assistere i nostri ospiti.
Accogliamo comunque i suoi commenti come spunto di riflessione per continuare a migliorare, pur sottolineando che la maggior parte delle osservazioni non riflette l’esperienza della grande maggioranza dei nostri clienti.

Clean, free wifi, quiet, great value
had a great stay at this lovely hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room was serviced daily with fresh towels provided every other day. The hotel itself was very peaceful — I wasn’t disturbed at all during my stay.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help. The location was perfect for me — just a 5-minute walk to the beach, where I spent most of my time. It’s also about 10–15 minutes from the main strip, but don’t let that put you off. The walk is well-lit and feels very safe at night, thanks to the steady flow of people and the many bars and pubs along the way.
The pool area was clean and well-maintained, with food and drinks available. The beds were basic but comfortable — exactly what you’d expect, nothing luxurious but definitely not uncomfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near several shops and restaurants, and right next to a quad bike and car rental shop, which was super handy.
I stayed here on my own, as my friends were at the Canadian Hotel just up the road, which was fully booked. I found this place last minute and was pleasantly surprised — it ended up being the perfect alternative. The free Wi-Fi was excellent, and although the air conditioning was a bit noisy, it worked really well.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel — great value, great location, and a really comfortable stay.

We had a lovely stay for the 4 days, just me and my teenage son. The location was perfect, very near to all shops and restaurants and close to the main strip of Laganas, as well as the beach within walking distance. The room we stayed in was on level 0, it was clean and had all we needed for our stay, it was a little damp, not noticeably but our clothes felt damp when kept in the room. We stayed end of May so just heading towards the busy season, so it was still pleasantly quiet, I assume once June starts it will be a lot noisier through the night as guests come and go a bit merry with alcohol. The pool is good and clean with sufficient amount of sunbeams, just make sure you have your own towels. the breakfast buffet was great, there was everything you could want available;, cooked food as well as cereal, fruit, pastries and cold meats.
The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. One of the Reception staff in particular, Ross (not sure of the spelling) was an absolute star. So thank you Ross! We would happily stay again and I would recommend this hotel to all.
