Just the right thing for us - just PERFECT!
The hotel is very clean for this category of hotel, the operating family just mega and very, very helpful.
The rooms are spacious, the balcony perfect (with umbrella), the breakfast buffet simple but sufficient ( 7 !!! Breads), the beds super comfortable and the location very good (the party mile of Malia is far enough away)
We have really “holidayed” much worse in higher star categories! We will definitely come back, because here everything is just right for us!!!

Another good holiday
Again a lovely holiday at this small super cosy hotel. Great rooms and a super selection for breakfast. You always meet with a smile and help if necessary.

Absolutely book this hotel again if we go to Malia
Fantastic weeks at this hotel. The owners Mom/Dad and daughter super nice. Very good cleaning often changed towels and bed linen. Great location to all beach and dining options.

A Malia must stay
The Altis hotel is a lovely hotel to stay in whilst in Malia, conveniently located close to the main Malia strip (around a 5min walk) but far enough so you still get a good night's sleep. Also walkable to the bars and resteraunts in stalis (around a 20-25min walk) so you have the choice of the partying in Malia or the more laid back quieter area in stalis. The beach is (around a 5-10min walk)
The staff were very welcoming and friendly and were always on hand to answer any questions and provide their assistance in a professional courteous manner.
The room was a decent size the beds were very comfortable which made for a good night's sleep. The balcony was pleasant overlooking the well kept garden area of the hotel. The bathroom had a decent shower with good water pressure and temperature you just have to be careful when using it as the water easily went on the floor but there was a bathroom mat provided.
The swimming pool area was delightful, clean and a lovely area to relax in the sun and enjoy a swim in the pool which for the size of the hotel was more than big enough. Fortunately the pool was rarely busy during our stay and a lot of the time it was like having a private pool, amazing!
Drinks and snacks are available to purchase at the bar to have by the pool. The beer was served in ice cold glasses and a little bowl of nuts or crisps provided each time was a nice touch.
The breakfast was served between 7.30 & 9.30 a nice selection of cereals, yogurts, continental style choice and a plate of fresh fruit provided which was lovely. A selection of juices tea and coffee with biscuits and sweets. Plenty to choose from.
Check out is at 12.00 the staff kindly allowed us to leave our luggage as we had a late transfer home. We was offered the use of the pool and the outdoor shower area after we had checked out and there was a changing area inside the hotel downstairs so we could still enjoy our last day and use the facilities.
I would definitely stay here again and really enjoyed my experience at the Altis hotel

2 DAYS IN MALIA
We stayed only 2 nights for a short stop in Malia.
Very convenient location for the beach and the center (a maximum of 15 minutes walk) where there is both the avenue with many night clubs and some discos and is (going further) the quieter old town.
Clean rooms, small size but with everything you need; welcoming staff.
We were disappointed with the breakfast, not at all plentiful with the bare minimum.
There was no possibility to have a cappuccino, to eat a fresh croissant or a cake. Available only cold cuts for toast, 2 types of biscuits, yogurt cereals, butter and jams. 1 type of juice and 1 type of iced tea.
I would definitely improve this look, very basic breakfast.
