Relaxing family holiday at Koni Village
A welcoming and friendly hotel. Between us (of which there was 13) we had a variety of rooms all of which were sea facing, large balcony, pleasant with sufficient hanging space and drawers. Fridge, safe (payable at reception) and hairdryer in the room. The floors were cleaned, beds made and towels changed regularly. Our shower screen was small, so water did spill over the bathroom floor making it wet but others had a large screen and no issues. Air conditioner worked fantastic and kept us super cool our whole stay. There are two pools one is lovely large pool with steps to enter which could do with some grip on them as we witnessed many people slipping on entering the pool so be warned hold on to the rail! There were plenty of beds at anytime of the day. The other pool is smaller and quieter also with beds available.
There is one bar but it is never too crowded, the snacks are available here too. The restaurant is opposite serving mainly Greek foods, amazing variety of soups, salads, cooked meats/fish, pasta, potatoes, rice, chips slight variations each day for lunch/dinner. If you are looking for English fast food this is not for you! We heard a few people complaining about the food which was a shame as even our fussiest child managed to find something to eat! Breakfast plenty of eggs available fried, scrambled, hard boiled. Toast, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats/cheeses etc. bacon, beans mushrooms and sausage.
The hotel is hilly, if you are in the higher rooms at the top of the complex but the big pool, bar and restaurant are on one level. It is a good 10min walk to the beach via the underpass

Worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in
We recently stayed at Koni Village on an all-inclusive package and were extremely disappointed with the overall experience.
The biggest issue was the food. It was consistently bland, watery, and lacked variety. As a vegetarian, my wife struggled daily as there were very limited options available, especially during snack times where there were no vegetarian choices at all. We ended up having to eat out most days, which completely defeats the purpose of booking an all-inclusive inclusive experience.
We also arrived very late, around 1am, and did not expect a meal service, so we brought cup noodles with us. However, after checking in we discovered there was no kettle in the room. We were told there were sandwiches available in the fridge, but as my wife is vegetarian and could not eat ham sandwiches, we asked if there was any hot water available. We were told everything was shut and no hot water could be provided, meaning we had no option to prepare our own food and had to go to bed hungry on the first night.
Another major issue was the lack of clear food labelling. The food was only labelled very simply as “pork,” “fish,” or “vegetarian,” with no further explanation of ingredients, allergens, or how the dishes were prepared. This made it very difficult to know what we were actually eating or what options were suitable.
The meal time service was also very poor. It was consistently rushed and disorganised, with limited space to accommodate guests. Dining felt stressful throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. To make it worse, if you weren’t finished eating by the end of service, staff would literally tell you to leave, which was unacceptable and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Another major frustration was the lack of basic amenities. There was no complimentary water in the room, and guests were not allowed to fill up their own water bottles. Instead, you’re restricted to small cups of water, which is completely unreasonable especially in a hot country. There were also no proper glasses or cups provided, with guests only given small plastic cups or paper cups even for hot drinks. Having to pay extra just for a bottled water is unacceptable.
There was also a clear lack of basic in-room amenities, with no kettle or iron provided. When I requested an iron, it only arrived the following day, which was inconvenient and not what you would expect from an all-inclusive stay.
The hotel does state that there is no lift, however this did not reflect how challenging the site actually is in practice. The entire complex is built on very steep hills with multiple flights of stairs just to reach accommodation areas. Before even reaching our room, we had to climb around 36 additional stairs. No assistance was offered with luggage, which made arrival and departure particularly difficult.
We also arrived very late, around 1am, and did not expect a meal service, so we brought cup noodles with us. However, after checking in we discovered there was no kettle in the room. We were told there were sandwiches available in the fridge, but as my wife is vegetarian and could not eat ham sandwiches, we asked if there was any hot water available. We were told everything was shut and no hot water could be provided, meaning we had no option to prepare our own food and had to go to bed hungry on the first night.
Drinks were also poorly managed. There was a coffee machine available, but it could only really make basic options like cappuccino, black coffee, milk, and hot chocolate. In the dining room, there were two drink stations, but one would often be shut during meal times when the bar was open. This meant that if you wanted a drink—even something as simple as water—you had to leave the dining area and go to the bar, which became frustrating very quickly.
The snack offering was poor and very limited, again with no consideration for different dietary needs.
While most of the staff were polite and professional, one staff member—a tall man with an “Enzo” tattoo—was particularly rude and unhelpful. When asked to refill the coffee machine, he became visibly irritated and acted like it was an inconvenience, even getting annoyed when we clarified which machine needed refilling.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. The only positive aspect was the majority of the staff being friendly, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the poor food quality, lack of inclusivity, and unnecessary restrictions.
We would not stay here again and would not recommend it, especially for vegetarians.

All in all, we had a good time
We were satisfied with the quality-price ratio, our room was 503, the accommodation was nice, clean, and spacious, the only downside was the bathroom, very small, and the shower was uncomfortable, small with a short curtain that flooded everything, good cleanliness, nice view, nice little terrace, friendly staff, international food with limited choices that improved a bit towards the weekend.

Not the best location.
Nothing drastically wrong with the place. The rooms are adequate as are the facilities. It's clean, the staff are mostly warm and friendly. Food is ok, not great but always something to eat. They do need to sort out crockery and cutlery as they run out quite quickly. The main problem is the location, it's too hilly for anyone with medical problems as we've learnt. Jet2 reps worse than useless and invisible. Stalis itself is great. We will be back, but not to Koni.

worst place to go to
0/10 from me and my sons. Where do I even begin? our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The majority of the staff were rude and unhelpful, The food was by so bad we had to eat out most nights. The quality was very poor . If you're thinking of staying here stay well away-boring.no one talks,rude,, , The rooms was bad-broken back door-no vent in bathroom as broken,no locks on bathroom doors,toilet paper can not be flushed down the toilet and put in bin,beds where no ready when we arrived. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, The all-inclusive drinks package was also very limited, offering just two cocktails and one beer option.drinks where terrible, To make matters worse, the hotel experienced an eight-hour power outage during our stay, leaving guests without cold drinks, functioning showers, or basic facilities. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of communication from management,thie hill to get to your appartments are deadly.This is, without question, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere please.they are so rude-moody,alot of people where moaning and where disquested how they where treated.you have been warned.
