Comprehensive review from someone has stayed in September 2022 and September 2024.

As I approach 60 and 27 years with my partner, this is the first time I have been back to not only the same island but also the same hotel.
Many people told us on our first visit that they had been back many times. Indeed on this occasion we arrived with a couple that had been 3 years on the trot.
I am suprised to see only 2 reviews as I had previously reviewed it 2 years ago.
Many things have improved. However the food was not up to the previous standard, surprised as the chef has not changed.
Indeed Costa and Jule are still there and the barmaid, who all remembered us. They work long hours tirelessly.
This is a family run hotel and is very laid back and relaxed. The rooms have been improved with modern bathrooms. We were lucky to have a wardrobe as many others didn't. The rooms have, a hairdryer, fridge. We got a safe when we asked but it wasn't fixed in. New pools had been added that were to be shared between a handful of rooms. We were happy with the main pool.
Katelios is peaceful and relaxing not noisy and party like, which is why we went back. There are some good restaurants.
They do cocktails around the pool on an afternoon. There is a mini market about 7 minutes walk away. The rooms are cleaned every day, the beds are comfortable and the TV shows BBC World News, there is no iron and WiFi is OK in the main restaurant but is weak in the room.

Poor food no choice

This hotel is OK but however the food was a big disappointment !we booked half board thro jet2 we did not get what we paid for we were charged extra Euros for bread with evening meal aso charged extra for fish!!! Making choices very limited if you are happy to eat chips and pasta you could just about manage also on some actions food was under cooked! One fellow guest complained only to end up arguing with waiter (it was like watching a sketch from fawlty towers!! However the room was clean and up to standard apart from the safe wich was not bolted down anyone could have walked off with it!!

Fantastic

Stayed here in August for a week, what a lovely place this is. All staff very friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them.
Breakfast was included with lots to choose from to suit everyone. Had lunch there every day, food amazing.
Rooms very spacious and cleaned every day, including towel changes.
Walked down to the main strip every night where there was lots of restaurants to choose from and a few bars.
Had drinks in the hotel a few nights as well, would recommend the cocktails.
All in all had a very pleasant stay, and will be back next year.
