Unforgettable vacation
Very nice place, something special and different for holidays in nature without depriving yourself of any of the comforts offered by some accommodation in the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

What were they thinking!
From where do i begin...? This place is the actual reason i signed up at Tripadvisor, to prevent people from rip offs like that and warn hosts that they cannot get away with everything. To start off, we paid almost 80 euros for a room with no curtains whatsoever, and a big window on the top of the room that allowed sun to come in from 7 o' clock every day... really...? what where they thinking? did they just forget to cover it properly, were they out of money when they built it, or was it just poorly constructed? We didn't get any body towels, only for the face - one of which had a big hole in the center... The door of the bathroom would get stuck to the floor cause it was not properly cut... Breakfast? nice but very poor, especially when you pay 80 euros... no wifi in the rooms, only in the main lobby and also, no telephone in the rooms. Last but not least, we were forced to pay in cash, cause they didn't have a POS, for which they ought to have a sign, informing the guests they should only carry cash! Super ugly tapestry on every wall! No room soundproof, we could hear a baby crying for hours in the middle of the day, when we wanted to get some rest. Finally they charged us 2.5 euros without telling us the reason, since when we left, there was only the housekeeper, who also gave us the receipt.

Great Resort - I will be visiting again
My family and I visited the beautiful village from Australia and were very impressed with the resort. It is truly unique. Firstly, the resort is located at the base of the Pangaion hill, next to a flowing river of water and surrounded by luscious green trees. The air is noticeably fresh and the resort feels very 'in one with nature' . We stayed in one of the large family cabins and it was perfectly comfortable and cosy. It was extremely clean and well looked after and the bathrooms were immaculate. The breakfast was the perfect size and the food was very fresh.
The staff were extremely friendly and lovely to speak to. I would recommend this resort to anyone seeking high quality and affordable accomodation in Moustheni.

It's a No from me
The location of this is resort is trully outstanding. A plateau in the middle of an intensely green mountain, with a small river passing close by.
The scandinavian style houses and rooms look wonderful when you arrive, but then you go inside and realize that the construction is bad and cheap.And it was evident everywhere. Going towards our room we had to duck at points where wooden trunks that were part of the construction are situated. The carpet in the corridors was ripped at places and left like that. Inside our room the bathroom door would get stuck to the floor because it was uneven. One of our face towles (we didnt get any body towels) had a huge hole in the middle. I really dont understand what the management is thinking! The bedsheet was too small for the double bed. The room we were staying in had a huge window on top with no blinds, meaning one couldnt sleep after 7 in the morning.The thing is Greece is not scandinavia and this brightness is really annoying for some people like us. The breakfast was tasty but small.
For almost 80 euros a night one would expect much better standards. You can't provide such bad service and charge so much. We wanted to pay with POS but it wasnt an option apparently. So if a family staying in one of the separate houses is there for 5 nights they have to carry close to 1000 euros in cash?
It is a pity because the place has so much potential. But you get the feeling that the management doesnt really care.

Different!
This small hotel complex of ten Scandinavian houses (comfortable for 5 persons) and a few two bed rooms in the main building, lies on the side of Mt Pageon in Kavala province, Macedonia, Greece.
it's by far quite "different" from what you think of summer vacations in Greece. Although 20 minutes from the shore, It makes you feel like being in .... Switzerland!
In a few words the hotel is clean and tight (daily cleaning), the surroundings great (!!!) the piscine comfortable but need some maintenance (there is also a pool bar), the gym small but at least exists, there is free wi-fi in the lobby/piscine area (not the houses) and people, inside and out, are great as well!
A family runs the hotel and give their efforts to make you feel nice (dad is preparing excellent breakfast with local organic ingredients). BUT that is, at the same time, the big advantage and disadvantage.This job is not an one man show (that's why i review as average).
In general that agricultural area provides great dry climate with cool summer nights, chances to walk and work out and allows easy access to Kavala city (30 km via Egnatia highway) and Salonika (120 km) and their airports/harbours.
Also offers variety in activities all throughout the year, such as visiting the nearby villages (cafes and tavern's available), the Alistrati cape (aprox. 45 min away), rafting at Aggitis river (aprox. 1 hour away) and skiing on Mt Falakro (aprox. 2 hours away).
