Beautiful apartment, wonderfully quiet!
Located in an agricultural area, this beautiful and quiet place is perfect when you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city. I had the room at the back, which is spacey and has a shower, kitchenette, and porch.
During daytime, the only sound I could hear were the sheep bleating from time to time. At night it was even quieter, with the cicadas singing (and one one occasion, two beech martens squeaking nearby when they fought over territory).
The neighbour has a dog, but the dog only barked for a minute when I arrived and was silent the rest of the time.
Due to organisational issues, I never met the owner, which was not a problem as everything worked out perfectly. One day when I was away, he brought some delicious tomatoes, zucchini and eggs to the apartment, which made a wonderful omelette.
The whole eastern coast is beautiful, with some secluded beaches, fish taverns, the mountains for hiking, and the remains of the old emery mining operation (including a still-standing cable transport from the 1920s).
I can highly recommend this place, and I would stay here again without hesitation.
