Great place; wish I'd spent more than one night
Dimitris arranged airport transportation for me and for my sister and her husband, who were arriving later. I was nervous and pestered him some, especially when I couldn't see some of his messages through the Booking Messenger, but he was very helpful. He met the taxi, carried my bag to my room, showed me around, gave me the keys, and showed me the password for the free wifi. I settled up what I owed after the deposit. And, he told me how to contact him, if I had any trouble and how to contact the on-site duty person.
We had a two-bedroom apartment with four twin-beds. Two beds were in the main room and two were in a separate room with a door. I found my bed to be comfortable, and I slept well, especially after two flights and a layover travelling from the U.S.. The wifi worked well. There were sliding glass doors from both the main room and from the separate bedroom that opened onto a large balcony overlooking the tree-lined street below. The balcony was well-furnished, and I wish that we had spent more than a single night there. There were metal blinds that I locked in front of the sliding glass doors at night. The front door of the hotel was kept locked, as well, so I felt quite safe. It was very quiet there in March; I don't know what it's like in the tourist season. The kitchenette was nice. The hotel left a few teabags and instant coffee packets laid out for us. There was an electric hot water kettle, coffee maker, microwave, small fridge, and range. There was also a complementary bottle of water. The bathroom was fine. The shower was quite large. There were plenty of electrical outlets, although I don't think there was one in the bathroom by the sink.
The downside was that it was freezing! It took hours for the two little heaters to warm the place to a reasonable temperature, and the floors were still icy. However, few people travel there in the winter, so that won't be a factor for most people. There also wasn't any counter space in the bathroom to put toiletries.
There is a cute, little interior courtyard in the hotel and also a seating area outside the front door. They have an elevator. A park and playground, a few restaurants, a bakery, and the beach are all close by. I chose this hotel for its value, proximity to the airport (about 20 min. by taxi), and short walk to the beach.
There is a Holiday Inn near the airport with a free shuttle that would have cost about what this hotel plus taxis cost me alone, and they would have charged nearly twice as much to add my traveling companions. It didn't seem to be close to anything I was interested in seeing, before I would turn in early from exhaustion and because I had another early flight the next morning. Instead, I chose to stay at a smaller hotel close to a beach and surrounding area that I could explore. I made the right decision.

A very nice place to stay.
The rooms were quiet and clean, the area is safe and has nice taverns and cafes - so food and drinks are available practically 24 hours a day. Street parking was no problem.
Most important, the owner was VERY friendly, accommodating, personable, and went out of his way to answer questions, offer suggestions, and even offered a snack!
If you want a clean, inexpensive solution close to the airport, this is it.

Nice place
Clean rooms , close to athens airport and rafina port, very green and full of trees around the building, the owner Dimitri is gentle, competent and with a very good english. I forgot: and the prices honest. What do you want more ?

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY
What a GREAT PLACE TO STAY. Close to Athens, St Ephraim Monastery (6 euro -taxi) and a beautiful beach near by. The room was big, with a kitchen and a balcony.
Dimitri the owner was fantastic. He arranged pick up from the airport and a drop off at the port with taxi driver Nikos. The taxi driver was so nice, he brought me to the travel agency to pick up my tickets and then dropped us off at the port. Dimitri was very helpful in calling for prices and times for the ferry to Tinos and Syros. We told him what we are planning to do and he got everything ready for us. THANK YOU DIMITRI FOR MAKING OUR VACATION A GREAT ONE. I would definitely go back.
