Great service and lots of goodness

Passing through Thessaloniki we decided to stop in Platamonas and casually we went for lunch at Venus. Really lucky because we ate Great dishes.
A perfect lunch at a fair price. Local close to the beach but elegant with excellent service. Dishes served with really beautiful dishes. Friendly staff and speaks good English. Rating 9 to everything.

Venus?? I would rather die

Yo, the owner of that beach is super rude. When I went there, they were all like, "You gotta spend at least 40 euros if you wanna sit here." It sounded like they were saying "you can't afford it." What the heck? Everyone is really really arrogant.

Still the best in Neoi Poroi

2021. and we’re back at the Hotel for our 4th visit.
Really happy to see the place again, especially after COVID-19 lock downs.
Food is still great, original authentic Greek cuisine and in great portions.
Pool area is still super clean and they still serve lunch and dinner around the pool. Beach is still the best beach in this area, excellent choice of DJs, clean and they make a mean Mojito! We were happy to see familiar faces of Nikos and his staff that we now consider our second family. We were positively surprised to see that they have expanded and now offer brand new large apartments with the same excellent service as the Hotel.

AVOID THIS PLACE BY ALL MEANS!

It was the most dirty venue I’ve ever visited in the whole world, The sunneds were ripped, and the arm chair with the table were sticky, And covered in weird substitutes of many colors,even rubbish from previous tourist were left as a souvenir never mind Covid-19 sanitization. There was no rubbish bin , despite I’ve asked for one twice. Very ignored by the staff, who were wearing masks by choice. The VAT bill was wrong underestimated off course the land insisted for extra €0.50 , so tax fraud too! Not to mention the sand not visible from the cigarette buts and plastic straws and all shorts ..... Don’t risk it, stay healthy during the pandemic and any other illness they’ll serve you there.

The worst hotel in Greece what I visited in last 15 years. Dinner is disaster, swedish table for breakfast very bad, offer is very poor. Cleaning in rooms is also not good, they change towels and sheets, but floor was always dirty. And the last thing what I notice is very arrogant owner. He thinks, because he have hotel last 40 years, then he knows the job. For money what I gave for that hotel, the service and offer is zero. My recommendation for tourists is to skip this hotel.
