Great memory of this place
I just found a card for Diamanti Studios from our trip to Lesbos last fall. It reminded me of what a pleasant time we had there and how nice the owner of the Studios is. I am trying to learn Greek (impossible undertaking!) and she was very patient in helping me to understand her and find the right words
Our room was clean and pleasant, with a small kitchen area, balcony and view of the beach. We loved Skala Kallonis and all of Lesbos. This was during the heavy refugee crossings and we were so impressed with all that the Greek residents and international aid workers did to help those in need.

Good views
When we arrived we had home made biscuits,we stayed here the end of April for five nights,very clean, comfy beds, kitchen basic fridge,two cooking rings kettle, sandwich toaster,iron and hairdryer, when we go away I always take two sharp knives as no where seems to have sharp knives. Balcony with views of the sea,chair and two tables,washing line.Plenty of places to eat, couple mins walk also some mini supermarkets.

Very good facility
We have stayed at this small apart hotel for one night and totally satisfied with our entire stay here.Very clean rooms,a little bit small but still ok for a couple.Very attractive price level ,as well.There is a beach with some simple sunbathing facilities available for hotel guests.Recommended.

Simple accommodation in central Lesbos
Diamanti Studios was simple and very clean accommodation in a good sea-side village. The cleaner is extremely fastidious about the cleanliness of the rooms and would put even five-star accommodation to shame. The beds were of medium firmness, the kitchen was basic with a refrigerator and older cook-top. The bathroom was average with an open stall for a shower. The size of the rooms were a little small but two people will cope no problems. The air-conditioning worked quite well as both a fan and air-conditioning (great for when you were over that dry, parched feeling). There is also a great balcony to sit there and overlook the beachfront. There is Wi-Fi but we found it a little problematic as it appeared to be over-subscribed. It's Open security meant that anyone within proximity (beach, restaurants, etc) would get access so we found it slow and often crashed (stopped working then fixed itself a minute later).
The location is fantastic if you have a car. Parking is easy and it's centrally located. Broadly, Skala Kallonis is away from the hustle and bustle of Mytilini and located centrally within the island, making it a great place to make as a base to discover Lesbos. More specifically, Diamanti Studios is opposite a park with kids playground as well as the beach with sunbeds, making it a joy to wake up to in the morning and in the afternoon around sunset. There is a mini-market about half a block away. The Platia (main square) where all the restaurants, cafes and bars of Skala Kallonis is located an quick and easy five-minute walk away.
The owners of the Diamanti Studios are also hospitable and very friendly people, making it the stay really comfortable and welcoming. If you get a chance, make sure you try some of their sardines....really, if you like fish but not sardines, this will change your view forever !!
The next time I am back in Lesbos, I would have no problems staying there.

My Greek Family in Skaka Kallini
We have been going to Lesvos for 9 years and stayed at Diamanti Studio for the first time last year in June - Tula, her husband and son Ignatios made us feel like family - friendly, helpful and very hospitable - what a great family - the studio is spotless and 20 meters from the sea - an awesome view - I will be returning on June 7, 2013 for another fantastic visit.
