Do not stay here
When we arrived the “villa” smelled of mold and was very musty. My wife has mold sensitivity and began not feeling well. We opened all the windows to try and help things but that didn’t help much.
Looking around the place we saw visible black mold in many places in most every room. It had rained the night before and there was a puddle of water below one of the windows and water seeping out from underneath the lower kitchen cabinets. The shelf above the bathroom sink had thick layer of dust covering it and god only knows when the last time it was cleaned. There was a caulking gun, fan and various building/cleaning materials stored in the bathroom vanity. The hot tub had lots of dirt in the bottom of it. We were booked for 2 nights but left after the first.

Beautiful view and great location, but a mixed experience in a boutique hotel
The good: the view was amazing. People flock to see the sunset in Oia, and the room delivered on the view. It was also a great location to shop and explore by foot.
We were able to park our rental car nearby and see more of Santorini.
The bad: I understand a boutique hotel doesn’t offer the same amenities as other hotels like a pool, bar, or restaurant but for $700 a night (September 2025), we expected more. The room was run down. The shades didn’t close. There was noticeable mold in the shower.
Breakfast was delivered two of our three mornings, but not the third when we were leaving early. Only one bottle of water for three nights, and never and ask about what we wanted to eat.
Although we mentioned prior to arriving we were on our Honeymoon, there was no acknowledgement of that.
And (this felt very odd), we were asked to pay cash or transfer the money instead of paying with our credit card. Since my US bank doesn’t offer international transfers and I didn’t carry 2,000 Euros, I said I wanted to pay with a Credit Card…which we eventually did, but after 3 days of back and forth (“can you give me half in cash…can we go to the ATM?”)….since we were communicating before arriving, the string preference for cash could have been stated at any time.
So, go for the view and location, but ask some questions before booking…and be ok with some wear and tear.
